Behind every click, stream, and cloud service is real hardware — and someone needs to make sure it gets where it needs to be. As a Logistics Specialist Intern at Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will help manage the supply chain that keeps our data centers running, from receiving and tracking parts to ensuring the right equipment is in the right place at the right time.
This internship is designed as a potential pathway to full-time employment. Interns who demonstrate strong performance throughout their internship may be considered for a full-time Logistics Specialist position, subject to available roles and business needs.

About the Role
You will join a creative, dynamic team of Logistics Specialists dedicated to providing world-class customer service — and you will be part of operating the world's largest cloud computing infrastructure.
This hands-on role supports our procurement and supply chain operations. Prioritization, organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to react quickly are critical to being successful.
What You Will Do
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure proper stock levels are maintained
- Receive parts, maintain inventory records, and check out parts
- Load and unload shipments and transport parts between different locations
- Assemble, address, stamp, and arrange for the shipment of merchandise and materials
- Assist in daily scheduling of deliveries and pick-ups to and from production locations
- Unpack incoming shipments and verify contents
- Maintain precise records of all commodities going in and out of the facility
Physical Requirements
This role involves physical activity, including:
- Regularly lifting and moving up to 16 kilograms (approximately 35 pounds) unassisted, and participating in group lifts for heavier items
- Lifting loads of up to 22 kilograms (approximately 49 pounds) and carrying them for short distances
- Continuously climbing and descending stairs safely (applies to sites with stairs)
- Reaching and stretching to position equipment and fixtures while maintaining balance
- Pushing or pulling heavy objects into position

Internship Structure
Amazon internships are full-time (40 hours per week) for six consecutive months, starting in March/April 2027. This position requires the intern to report to work on site daily. Intern schedules are typically day schedules, Monday through Friday.
This is a paid internship.
Please note that a full-time Logistics Specialist position could involve day, evening, or weekend shifts and on-call rotations. Candidates should be willing and able to commit to shift work upon transitioning to a full-time position.

About the team AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We are the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on.
You will join a diverse team of engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You will collaborate with people across AWS to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers.
- Completed — or due to complete before the internship end date — a higher education qualification (National Qualifications Framework level 4 to 6) or a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field such as Supply Chain, Logistics, or similar - Professional English proficiency, both written and verbal - Ability to work well with others in a team environment, with strong time management skills
- You must have access to your own transport (note: public transit options may be limited) - Customer service experience - Ability to manage work and priorities through a ticketing system and coordinate with your manager
