Amazon is looking for a Facilities Manager to lead operations, drive process improvements, and deliver results across a portfolio of facilities. In this role, you will manage a team responsible for ensuring our spaces run smoothly, safely, and efficiently while continuously raising the bar on service delivery. You will define strategy, set goals, and partner with stakeholders across the organization to solve complex problems and improve the experience for every person who walks through our doors. A day in the life You start your morning reviewing facility performance dashboards and triaging any overnight issues with your team. Mid-morning, you join a cross-functional meeting to align on an upcoming space reconfiguration project, working through resource constraints and timelines with partner teams. After lunch, you hold one-on-one meetings with direct reports, discussing development goals and removing barriers to their work. Later, you walk the facility with your maintenance lead to inspect a recently completed improvement project before wrapping up with a narrative review for an upcoming operational planning cycle.
