The posting

Are you passionate about how SAP workloads transform when they move to the cloud — and about the innovation that becomes possible once they are there? As a Partner Solutions Architect focused on SAP, you will work with AWS Consulting and Technology Partners across EMEA to help them build, migrate, and modernize SAP solutions on AWS, and then unlock new value on top of those estates with AWS data, analytics, generative AI, agentic systems, and intelligent automation. You will enable partners on SAP on AWS architectures — migration, resilience, security, and modernization — and guide them to combine SAP with AWS capabilities to deliver differentiated customer outcomes at scale. SAP sits at the core of how millions of companies run their day-to-day operations; you will help partners modernize these mission-critical estates and build the next generation of intelligent solutions on top of them, accelerating their customers’ businesses across EMEA. This is a role for a self-starter who is energised by ambiguity, has a bias for action, and can identify untapped opportunities — someone who sees what others miss and builds where others wait, operating at the intersection of enterprise SAP landscapes, AWS cloud, and emerging technology.

Key job responsibilities • Support Partner go-to-market motions with technical guidance and thought leadership on SAP on AWS — covering migration, modernization, resilience, security, and innovation on top of SAP. • Enable AWS Partners and internal AWS teams on the adoption and delivery of SAP on AWS solutions — architecture, migration methodology, workshop delivery, and customer engagement across the full lifecycle. • Create best practices and architectural guidance on SAP on AWS — landing zones, high availability and disaster recovery, security and compliance, and cost optimization — being a thought leader in the area. • Drive SAP + AWS innovation — generative AI, agentic AI, and intelligent automation — architecting and delivering demonstrations, proofs of concept, and reference architectures that partners can replicate and customize for their customers. • Support go-to-market for SAP solutions including SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Business Data Cloud, and Cloud ERP (GROW with SAP), tying together AWS and partner offerings across data, analytics, AI, and infrastructure into comprehensive solutions. • Build and grow partner capabilities (GSIs, ISVs, regional SIs) through enablement workshops, technical guides, and co-build engagements. • Be the technical reference on SAP for the EMEA Partner Organization, collecting and surfacing the work done across the region. • Collaborate with AWS account teams, professional services, and commercial sales to bridge partner capabilities with customer demand for SAP transformation. • Engage line-of-business executives and key stakeholders through business-value-led conversations on strategic opportunities. • Represent partner needs to AWS service teams, influencing roadmaps and advocating for features that accelerate partner adoption of SAP on AWS. • Publish thought leadership (blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures), represent AWS at industry events, and contribute to the Partner Solutions Architecture community through knowledge sharing, mentoring, and hiring.

A day in the life No two days are the same. You might start by whiteboarding an SAP on AWS landing zone with a consulting partner’s delivery team, reviewing high-availability, disaster-recovery, and security design for a large S/4HANA migration. Later, you could be building a generative AI demo on Amazon Bedrock that orchestrates SAP workflows, or showing a partner how to extend SAP with AWS data and analytics services. After lunch, you might run a workshop with SI partners on a new reference architecture, before ending the day in a strategy session to refine an ongoing sales play based on newly released AWS for SAP solutions. You will also spend time creating reusable enablement assets, guiding partners through SAP on AWS best practices, and collaborating with AWS field teams to match partner capabilities with customer demand. Some days are heavy on building; others on presenting, teaching, or strategizing — but the pace of innovation is constant.

About the team You will join the EMEA Partner Solutions Architecture (PSA) organization within the AWS Partner Organization (APO). The PSA team serves as a scale engine for AWS, propelling growth by recruiting, activating, and developing partners. We provide the technical enablement and thought leadership that helps partners build and sell solutions on AWS. This role sits within the Solutions PSA team, which drives AWS growth through differentiated partner solutions across industries and horizontals — including SAP and enterprise applications. The team operates across EMEA, collaborating with commercial sales, industry SAs, and the broader partner ecosystem. You will have flexibility to travel across the region to work directly with partners and attend industry events. AWS champions diversity and welcomes candidates with non-traditional backgrounds and varied experiences. Our team environment emphasizes curiosity, mentorship, and continuous learning, and we support professional growth while maintaining work-life harmony.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
