The posting

Join a high-impact team at the forefront of global compliance innovation, where you'll shape how Amazon keeps its compliance posture sound as regulations multiply across jurisdictions and programs. Meeting a regulatory obligation at launch is only the beginning — knowing whether our controls continue to hold as the business grows, regulations evolve, and new risk areas emerge is what separates durable compliance from a check that silently decays. You'll own the product vision for that continuous risk view, building the platform that turns compliance signals into timely, proportionate action — and makes the whole system smarter every cycle.

The Selling Partner Trust & Store Integrity team is seeking a strong Sr. Product Manager, Tech to own Risk Monitoring & Response — the capability that continuously assesses our compliance-risk posture and decides what each risk signal should trigger. You own the layer that monitors compliance risk over time and converts it into action: risk-based routing, the assessment framework that maps a risk signal to a proportionate response, the triggers that keep compliance current as circumstances change, and the instrumentation that makes risk posture visible to the business — productized into a scalable, increasingly automated capability that applies across programs and compliance domains. Alongside this capability, you serve as the named product lead for a set of compliance programs and regulatory risk areas — holding the end-to-end product view: partnering with program, legal, and compliance stakeholders to understand each obligation, translating it into durable product requirements, and connecting regulatory intent to the capabilities that keep sellers and the store compliant. Assignments are reviewed periodically and evolve as programs mature and new regulatory areas emerge. This role requires navigating complex cross-functional stakeholder landscapes while balancing regulatory requirements, technical constraints, and delivery velocity.

Key job responsibilities - Own the product vision and multi-year roadmap for compliance risk monitoring and response — how Amazon continuously assesses whether its compliance posture is holding, where risk is concentrated, and how each program responds, across programs, regions, and compliance domains - Serve as the named product lead for an assigned portfolio of compliance programs and regulatory risk areas — translating regulatory obligations into durable product requirements and holding the end-to-end product view - Partner with analytics and applied science to define and instrument the right compliance metrics per program, and to turn those signals into productized, data-driven decisions - Design the capability as a 1-to-many platform — reusable and policy-agnostic, so new programs, jurisdictions, and risk areas onboard via configuration rather than custom builds - Define success metrics and monitoring — program coverage, time to surface emerging risk, share of responses driven by the shared framework vs. one-off logic, and reduction in reactive escalations - Present product strategy and investment cases to Director- and VP-level audiences, securing alignment across multiple VP organizations with competing priorities - Partner with applied science, principal engineering, program management, legal/compliance, and peer product owners to deliver end-to-end at scale

- Bachelor's degree - 5+ years of end to end product delivery experience - Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product - Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on time

- MBA - Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools - Experience building shared-service platforms, rule/scoring/assessment engines, or risk-monitoring systems serving multiple business units - Experience in compliance, regulatory technology, financial services, risk management, or fraud/abuse-prevention domains - Experience partnering with applied science / ML teams to turn model outputs into productized decisions

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
