The posting

Do you want to change how the world's largest organizations give their people, and now their AI agents, a secure place to work? The Applied AI Solutions (AAIS) team is hiring a Specialist Solutions Architecture Leader for Agentic WorkSpaces. You'll lead the Americas Specialist SA team supporting AWS Industries (AWSI) and Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS) customers.

Agentic WorkSpaces includes Amazon WorkSpaces (Personal, Pools and Core), WorkSpaces Applications, WorkSpaces Secure Browser, WorkSpaces Thin Client, and new capabilities that let AI agents work securely next to human users on managed desktops. Our customers are moving off legacy on-premises VDI, modernizing how they deliver end-user computing, and starting to run agentic workloads in production. Your team will be the technical lead for those moves.

In this role you'll hire, develop and lead a team of Specialist SAs who work with enterprise, regulated-industry, and government customers on their hardest EUC and agentic desktop problems. You'll work closely with Specialist Sellers, account teams, Professional Services, Partners and the WorkSpaces service team to grow adoption, unblock deals, and bring field feedback into the product roadmap. You'll also be expected to stay hands-on enough to step in on strategic engagements yourself.

Key job responsibilities - Lead, hire and develop a team of Specialist SAs across the Americas, aligned to AWSI and WWPS. Set a high bar for technical depth, customer obsession, and ownership. - Own the technical strategy for Agentic WorkSpaces adoption in your segments, including VDI migrations (Citrix, Omnissa/VMware Horizon and others), net-new EUC deployments, and early agentic workloads. - Partner with Specialist Sales leaders to build and progress pipeline, run deal reviews, and drive revenue and adoption goals. - Act as an executive-level technical advisor to strategic customers. Lead architecture reviews, proofs of concept, and security and compliance discussions (FedRAMP, GovCloud, ADC, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CJIS). - Build scalable programs with Partners and SIs so migrations and deployments can grow beyond what the SA team can cover directly. - Represent the voice of the customer to the WorkSpaces product and engineering teams. Turn field feedback into prioritized feature requests, regional expansion asks, and roadmap input. - Build scalable technical content (reference architectures, workshops, demos, blogs, re:Invent and Summit sessions) to grow the AWS field and partner community. - Run operating mechanisms for your team (WBR/MBR inputs, SpecReq SLAs, activity and impact reporting) and work with your peer SA leaders across EMEA and APJ so the global team runs consistently.

A day in the life You might start your morning in a 1:1 with one of your SAs, then join a federal agency's CIO to walk through their move off on-premises VDI. After lunch you could be in a deal review with your Specialist Sales partner, then talking through a feature gap with the product team that's blocking a large healthcare customer. You'll end the day reviewing a reference architecture your team is publishing for agent-enabled desktops. Expect regular travel to customers, partners and AWS events.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
