The posting

NOC (Network Operation Center) is the central command and control center for ‘Transportation Execution’ across the Amazon Supply Chain network supporting multiple geographies. It ensures hassle free, timely pick-up and delivery of freight from vendors to Amazon fulfillment centers (FC) and from Amazon FCs to carrier hubs. In case of any exceptions, NOC steps in to resolve the issue and keeps all the stakeholders informed on the proceedings. Along with this tactical problem-solving NOC is also charged with understanding trends in network exceptions and then automating processes or proposing process changes to streamline operations. This second aspect involves network monitoring and significant analysis of network data. Overall, NOC plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of Amazon transportation and thereby has a direct impact on Amazon’s ability to serve its customers on time. Risk and Compliance Monitoring Team (RCMT) within NOC is the centralized risk management function for RoW Surface Transportation. This team leads risk assessments across ST programs and develops tailored risk mitigation initiatives, programs, and audits to meet the needs of our business customers. RCMT is dedicated to preventing bad actors from exploiting Amazon services for illicit purposes and collaborates closely with legal, finance, and HR departments to conduct thorough investigations and take necessary actions against such actors. We harness advanced technology to enhance our processes and develop projects, programs, and products that optimize Surface Transportation Operations across RoW countries — Brazil, Mexico, AMET (Egypt, KSA, South Africa, UAE), Japan, India, and Australia. The role operates on a rotational shift model (including nights and rotational week-offs) to provide round-the-clock coverage across time zones.

Key job responsibilities • Investigation & Case Management — Serve as a primary investigator conducting daily investigations across assigned geographies. Review cases from monitoring dashboards, determine root cause (process gaps, SOP non-compliance, or deviations), and document findings with supporting evidence within established SLA timelines. • Deep-Dive Analysis & Root Cause Determination — Perform deep-dive analysis into raised cases by validating operational justifications. Distinguish between legitimate operational exceptions, process loopholes, and potential compliance deviations to ensure accurate case classification. • Data Extraction & Monitoring — Extract and manage data from multiple internal portals and monitoring dashboards to support daily investigation operations. Maintain familiarity with data sources, system tools, and reporting platforms used across assigned geographies to ensure comprehensive case review. • Trend Identification & Anomaly Reporting — Identify recurring patterns, emerging risk trends, and anomalies through systematic review of investigation outputs. Report identified trends and anomalies to managers for further review, escalation, and strategic action. • SOP Compliance & Process Gap Identification — Evaluate investigated cases against established SOPs and operational guidelines. Identify control gaps and process loopholes and recommend SOP revisions or corrective actions to strengthen compliance controls across assigned geographies. • Documentation & Reporting — Generate and maintain accurate investigation records, periodic reports (daily, weekly, monthly), and case documentation. Ensure all findings, evidence, and outcomes are systematically documented to support audit trails and leadership reviews. • Quality Assurance & Calibration — Participate in quality assurance reviews and calibration sessions to ensure consistency and accuracy of investigation outputs across the team. Cross-validate investigation findings and support peer reviews as directed by managers. • Continuous Improvement — Actively seek solutions through logical reasoning and identify trends to suggest process improvements. Provide feedback on detection accuracy and dashboard logic refinement to leadership for further evaluation and action. • Confidentiality & Compliance — Uphold strict confidentiality standards for all sensitive information handled during investigations. Adhere to all Amazon policies, ethical guidelines, and compliance protocols governing risk management activities.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
