  • Portfolio Leadership: Lead the three portfolio owners responsible for Regional AAI and Developer Events, Executive and Internal Events, and Strategic Business Unit Events. Directly own the global Advancing AI event within this portfolio.
  • Portfolio Planning & Prioritization: Evaluate investments across proprietary portfolios and recommend where AMD should invest, expand, consolidate, reposition, or exit programs.
  • Audience & Experience Strategy: Ensure each portfolio has clearly defined priority audiences, objectives, value propositions, and experience strategies.
  • Business Alignment: Partner with Business Units, Sales, Marketing, Regional Marketing, Communications, Developer Relations, and executive stakeholders to translate business priorities into event strategies.
  • Portfolio Integration: Identify opportunities to connect audiences and programs across AAI, regional events, developer programs, executive engagement, internal events, and Business Unit portfolios.
  • Investment Management: Develop investment recommendations, resource strategies, and annual portfolio plans in partnership with Global Event Marketing leadership and Business Operations.
  • Performance & Optimization: Establish portfolio-level success measures and use performance data, audience insights, and business outcomes to guide future investments.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner closely with Event Marketing, Strategic Partnerships & Sponsorships, Global Event Operations, and other cross-functional teams to translate portfolio strategies into integrated event programs.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of strategic portfolio leaders.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Extensive progressive experience leading proprietary events, experiential marketing, event portfolios, integrated marketing, or related disciplines, including substantial people leadership and talent development experience.
  • Demonstrated experience directly owning and delivering a large-scale flagship conference, including event strategy, cross-functional planning, execution, and performance.
  • Strong portfolio management skills with experience making investment and prioritization decisions across multiple programs.
  • Experience developing strategies for diverse audiences, including customers, developers, partners, executives, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing significant event investments.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and build alignment across Business Units and highly matrixed organizations.
  • Demonstrated people leadership and talent development experience.
  • Strong strategic mindset combined with deep expertise in event execution, audience engagement, and experience design.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
