Description du poste

Notre équipe est présentement à la recherche d'un chauffeur classe 1 pour notre site de Granby. Nous recherchons un candidat qui s’adapte facilement aux changements et qui est prêt à relever de nouveaux défis.

Ce dont vous serez responsable

  • Procéder à l’inspection du camion au quotidien;
  • Suivre l’horaire et l’itinéraire remis par le supérieur;
  • Faire la cueillette et la livraison des métaux ferreux et non-ferreux selon les normes applicables de sécurité;
  • Remplir la documentation nécessaire au transport à effectuer;
  • Effectuer l’entretien de base du camion;
  • S'assurer de la satisfaction du client;
  • Conduire le véhicule de manière sécuritaire et efficace.
  • Effectuer la ronde de vérification avant de prendre la route;
  • S’assurer que les normes de sécurité établies par la loi et par l’employeur soient respectées en tout temps sans exception;
  • Utiliser différents types de véhicules lourds régulièrement;
  • Déplacer et faire le ménages dans nos remorques.

Qualifications

Pour vous joindre à notre équipe

  • Vous détenez un permis de conduire de classe 1 avec la mention FM;
  • Vous détenez un bon dossier de conduite;
  • Vous avez au moins 2 ans d'expérience comme chauffeur classe 1;
  • Vous êtes familier avec les systèmes hydrauliques;
  • Vous avez de l'expérience avec la conduite d'une variété de véhicules lourds, tel que les roll-offs 12 roues, les dompeur à 4 essieux, les carcasses à 4 essieux, etc.
  • Vous êtes consciencieux de la santé et sécurité au travail;
  • Vous êtes en bonne forme physique;
  • Vous offrez un excellent niveau de service à la clientèle;
  • Vous êtes fiable, assidu et ponctuel;
  • Vous avez un bon respect de l'équipement et des outils.
