Job Summary

The Senior Support Specialist is responsible for providing an enhanced level of insurance system support for both the TurnKey Enrollment and Billing platforms, to both internal and external clients. This individual will primarily be working with a white labeled vendor specific JavaScript scripting engine that uses C# objects (TurnKey-Selerix). This individual is required to complete more complex technical tasks with a great deal of attention to detail and accuracy. The Senior Support Specialist must have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously so both internal teams and external clients are highly satisfied. This individual will be responsible for coaching and providing guidance to internal and external users where appropriate to ensure system optimization is maintained at all times. Effective communication and meeting expected deadlines across all projects will be required.

Job Description

Primary TurnKey-Selerix Duties

  • Become a Selerix SME
  • Work and Resolve Systems Support tickets within specified timeline in Salesforce.
  • Perform development changes to existing Billing System Integration, EDI, COBRA and Payroll reports as requested and approved.
  • Research and resolve report bugs as identified.
  • Provide and/or point users to resources on report inquiries or user errors as needed.
  • Develop Custom Payroll Report
  • Gather requirements, specs and codes and review.
  • Conduct and/or participate in payroll file setup calls as needed
  • Build Payroll Report
  • Internally Test following payroll file test plan
  • Monitor client testing and process changes based on client feedback
  • Conduct production Implementation and ongoing tracking for recurring files
  • Conduct required periodic payroll file audits
  • Develop Various Insurance Carrier 834 & NON834 EDI Reports in carrier specified format
  • Gather requirements, specs, codes and review.
  • Participate in carrier EDI setup calls as needed
  • Build EDI Report
  • Internally Test file and Audit against data enrolled
  • Monitor and process multiple rounds of carrier testing and process changes based on feedback
  • Process hand-off to Internal EDI team for production implementation and ongoing EDI monitoring
  • Develop COBRA Employer Report Builds
  • Gather requirements, specs and codes and review
  • Participate in COBRA vendor setup calls when required
  • Build New Plan Member, Qualifying Beneficiary and Special Plan Member COBRA Reports as contracted
  • Internally Test Payroll and Audit against qualifying COBRA events performed in TurnKey-Selerix
  • Monitor and process multiple rounds of vendor testing and process changes based on feedback
  • Process hand-off to Internal EDI team for production implementation and ongoing EDI monitoring
  • Implementation of client census import files
  • Build and/or develop client specific specs and account structure
  • Conduct and/or participate in import file setup calls when needed
  • Conduct Testing and provide testing feedback
  • Conduct production Implementation and ongoing tracking for recurring files

Secondary/As needed Duties

  • Specialty case scripting across all TurnKey Cases as needed and approved (including but not limited to)
  • Custom life event handling
  • Build custom Help Screens
  • Build custom Pop-Ups
  • Build Custom Case Themes
  • Custom Product and or Plan rules scripting
  • Custom Application and form mapping
  • Setup and Renew open enrollment case builds on the TurnKey platform
  • Provide implementation guidance to Account management team and/or clients for optimal case build design and setup
  • Process or update Client Specific JavaScripting eligibility rules
  • Review all benefit plan designs, eligibility rules, and client requirements providing feedback and collecting missing information to ensure a successful case setup and rollout
  • Perform the build and/or update of the case, eligibility classes, and plans
  • Provide collaborative assistance to obtain accurate and complete client census files
  • Complete testing fixes as identified
  • Resolve Case Build Bugs as identified
  • Deliver case accurately and timely

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Java Scripting Experience required
  • Familiarity with a variety of insurance industry concepts, practices and procedures, preferred.
  • Salesforce experience is a plus
  • Experience in Microsoft office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Advanced Excel knowledge is a necessity.
  • Data reconciliation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under deadline pressure is essential.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, team environment as well as independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; effective oral and written communications both internally and externally.
  • Flexibility and adaptability; energetic and self-driven.
