AMLI Residential is hiring a Multi-Site Apartment Maintenance Technician to support AMLI Park West and AMLI Toscana Place.

In this hands-on position, you'll help keep both apartment communities running smoothly by completing resident service requests, troubleshooting repairs, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring our apartment homes and amenities are maintained to AMLI's high standards.

What You'll Do

  • Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose and complete repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, carpentry, drywall, and other building components.
  • Respond to Service Requests: Address resident maintenance needs promptly and professionally, delivering excellent customer service.
  • Maintain Two Communities: Provide maintenance support at both AMLI Park West and AMLI Toscana Place, adjusting priorities based on operational needs.
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance: Complete scheduled inspections, HVAC filter changes, pool maintenance, exterior lighting checks, and other preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Prepare Apartment Homes: Assist with apartment turns, inspections, repairs, and make-ready work to ensure homes are ready for incoming residents.
  • Maintain Property Standards: Help keep buildings, amenities, grounds, and common areas clean, safe, and well maintained.
  • Manage Tools & Supplies: Maintain tools, equipment, inventory, and work areas in an organized and safe condition.
  • Support On-Call Coverage: Participate in an on-call rotation, including evenings and weekends.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years of related maintenance experience or training.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
  • Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs independently.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize service requests and work effectively across two communities.
  • Availability for on-call duties, including evenings and weekends.
  • EPA Refrigerant Certification (Type I & II or Universal), or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

  • Diagnosticar y reparar: Realizar reparaciones de HVAC (aire acondicionado y calefacción), plomería, electricidad, electrodomésticos, carpintería, paneles de yeso y otros componentes de los edificios.
  • Atender solicitudes de servicio: Responder de manera rápida y profesional a las necesidades de mantenimiento de los residentes.
  • Trabajar en dos comunidades: Brindar apoyo de mantenimiento en AMLI Park West y AMLI Toscana Place, según las necesidades de cada propiedad.
  • Realizar mantenimiento preventivo: Inspeccionar equipos, cambiar filtros de aire acondicionado, realizar mantenimiento de piscinas, revisar iluminación exterior y completar inspecciones programadas.
  • Preparar apartamentos: Inspeccionar y reparar apartamentos desocupados para que estén listos para nuevos residentes.
  • Mantener las instalaciones: Ayudar a conservar edificios, áreas comunes, jardines y amenidades en buenas condiciones.
  • Cuidar herramientas y suministros: Mantener organizados y en buen estado los equipos, herramientas y materiales de trabajo.
  • Participar en guardias rotativas: Estar disponible para atender emergencias de mantenimiento durante las noches y los fines de semana.

Requisitos

  • Mínimo de 2 años de experiencia o capacitación relacionada con mantenimiento.
  • Conocimientos de HVAC, plomería, electricidad, reparación de electrodomésticos, carpintería y mantenimiento general.
  • Capacidad para diagnosticar problemas y realizar reparaciones de manera independiente.
  • Buenas habilidades de comunicación, organización y servicio al cliente.
  • Capacidad para organizar prioridades y trabajar en dos comunidades.
  • Disponibilidad para guardias rotativas durante las noches y fines de semana.
  • Certificación EPA de refrigerantes (Tipo I y II o Universal), o capacidad para obtenerla dentro de los primeros 60 días de empleo.
