CREATE AN IMPACT BY SHAPING THE WORLD OF EDUCATION!

Amplify is seeking a motivated and technically driven Software Engineering Intern to join our team this summer and help us build robust, scalable, and innovative digital experiences for the educators, students, and families who use our cutting-edge educational products. This paid, remote 10-week internship offers the chance to make a real impact on products used by millions of students and teachers.

If you're comfortable with software development, problem-solving, and coding best practices, and you're genuinely curious about how technology can transform learning outcomes, this could be a perfect fit for you. The ideal candidates will love building clean, efficient, and impactful software, bring an eager, collaborative energy to your work, and feel excited to contribute to the engineering systems and product features that power K–12 learning at scale.

Though remote, interns will join a 2-day in-person experience at Amplify HQ in Brooklyn, NY. Throughout the program, interns will engage with Amplify's culture via product demos, team-building activities, and engagement initiatives, plus grow through a virtual speaker series featuring Amplify executives, additional product demos, and dedicated mentorship.

While our summer intern roles are remote positions, interns must be authorized to work in the US, reside in the US for the internship's duration, and be available full-time for the entire program, June 7 – August 13, 2027.

Key responsibilities may include:

- Support the design, development, and testing of software features and enhancements across Amplify's web and mobile product suite

- Assist with code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and deployment pipelines to ensure high-quality software delivery

- Contribute to technical documentation, engineering wikis, API specifications, and internal developer resources

- Track and resolve issues in project management and version control systems to support sprint goals and release timelines

- Participate in product demos, sprint ceremonies, and Engineering/Product Manager meetings to build knowledge of Amplify's technology stack and development practices

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

- Direct exposure to software engineering tools, frameworks, and best practices used in EdTech

- Real-world engineering challenges that affect educators, students, and families

- Collaboration with Engineering, Product, and Design teams across the organization

- Contributions to meaningful feature development and product improvements in a mission-driven environment

- Mentorship from industry professionals at the forefront of software engineering in education

- Exposure to Frontend Engineering, Backend Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, and API Development

- Hands-on training in a fast-paced, agile environment

- Opportunities to help shape the performance, scalability, and reliability of educational products used by millions of users

- Ability to synthesize information, identify themes, and communicate insights clearly

- Knowledge of and interest in the K–12 education technology field

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
