This role plays an important part in delivering and evolving technology solutions across Commercial and Medical. Reporting to the Director, IT Commercial Business Partner, you’ll partner across Commercial, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Patient Services, IT, and external vendors to translate business priorities into thoughtful, scalable solutions. You’ll take hands-on ownership of complex initiatives from requirements through implementation and ongoing optimization, combining business analysis, solution design, project delivery, and application management to support the needs of a growing organization.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the delivery and ongoing optimization of Commercial and Medical applications and capabilities in alignment with established business priorities and technology roadmaps.
  • Translate complex stakeholder needs into clear requirements, future-state processes, functional specifications, solution options, and actionable delivery plans.
  • Apply functional and technical expertise to support the design, implementation, and optimization of Commercial and Medical applications, including CRM, content management, data, analytics, and supporting integrations.
  • Manage complex application initiatives and enhancements through scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, decisions, testing, deployment, and status communications.
  • Partner with internal technical teams and external vendors to evaluate solution options and ensure designs align with established architecture, integration, security, compliance, and support standards.
  • Coordinate configuration, integrations, data migration, testing, release readiness, and operational handoff activities across systems and teams.
  • Manage application enhancement backlogs, production issues, release activities, and support needs, ensuring priorities and dependencies are clearly documented and communicated.
  • Identify opportunities to solve business problems through AI, LLMs, automation, and existing technology, and coordinate the design, implementation, and adoption of solutions that improve business processes and productivity.
  • Execute RFP and vendor evaluation activities through requirements documentation, solution analysis, demonstrations, cost inputs, evaluation materials, and recommendations to IT leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Coordinate day-to-day delivery with implementation and support partners, tracking scope, timelines, quality, service levels, issues, and agreed outcomes.
  • Support delivery of application and integration roadmap initiatives by identifying dependencies, risks, sequencing considerations, and cross-system impacts for assigned capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including FDA computer systems assurance, SOX, and GDPR.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships and facilitate cross-functional collaboration across Commercial, Medical Affairs, IT, and external partners.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business, or related field.
  • Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in IT, business systems analysis, application delivery, project management, or consulting roles.
  • 5+ years of experience with CRM and omnichannel customer engagement platforms (e.g., Salesforce.com, Veeva), including hands-on functional, administration, or solution delivery experience.
  • Experience in Commercial, Marketing, and/or Medical Operations within Life Sciences is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex, cross-functional application implementations and enhancements.
  • Strong business analysis and solution design skills, including requirements, process flows, functional specifications, testing, data, and integration considerations.
  • Ability to translate established business and technology priorities into well-defined solution requirements and executable delivery plans.
  • Experience coordinating systems integrators, software vendors, managed service providers, and cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Experience contributing to RFPs, solution evaluations, implementation estimates, and vendor selection activities.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with AI-powered tools, automation platforms, scripting technologies, and the ability to apply them effectively is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute IT projects within controlled change management frameworks.
  • Experience supporting regulated environments, validation and User Acceptance Testing processes
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
