Job Description
We are seeking an Associate Process Sustaining Engineer to join our manufacturing engineering team and play a key role in sustaining and improving wafer fabrication processes in a high‑volume semiconductor environment. This role is responsible for driving continuous improvements in yield, quality, cost, and cycle time through hands-on process ownership, data-driven analysis, and close partnership with manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical foundation in semiconductor processing, preferably CMP, and thrives in a fast-paced operation where ownership, collaboration, and adaptability are essential
Typical Responsibilities include but not limited to: • Sustaining high volume wafer manufacturing by providing technical expertise in photolithography processes • Developing improvements to manufacturing processes and modifications to production process flows to improve yield, quality, cost, and cycle time • Root cause investigation of discrepant material and implementation of quality improvement programs • Troubleshooting process shifts and applying SPC fundamentals to identify areas for improvement • Optimizing process to lower cost, maximize output, and match performance across tools • Qualifying new equipment and new processes • Analyzing cycle time and equipment overall operational efficiency
Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor’s in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Electronics, or a related engineering field of study. • 2+ years of semiconductor manufacturing experience in photolithography, with preference for TEL ACT8 track, die coat polyimide and spin on glass experience • Good understanding of photolithography theory and process knowledge • Able to work on-site in cleanroom
Preferred Qualifications • Excellent communication and teamwork skills • Demonstrated technical leadership skills and ability to productively engage with individuals from a range of backgrounds. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently with a high degree of ownership • Flexibility to learn new systems, platforms and processes • Able to adapt to frequently changing environment • Self-starter with a strong work ethic who will thrive in a dynamic 24/7 operation • Strong knowledge and past ownership of photolithography track tool is desired

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $64,000 to $88,000.
- Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
- This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors
- This position includes medical, vision and dental coverage, 401k, paid vacation, holidays, and sick time, and other benefits.
- Benefits for the position includes 10 paid holidays per year, paid vacation starting at 136 hours per year for full-time employees (prorated for part-time employees), and paid sick time that exceeds the requirements of the Washington State Sick Leave law.
