Anchr is een Belgische buy-and-build softwaregroep, georganiseerd als een slanke holding: een klein centraal team en softwarebedrijven die eigenaar blijven van hun eigen producten, technologie en strategie. De groep brengt momenteel 9 softwarebedrijven samen in 6 domeinen, met meer dan 300 medewerkers in België en Nederland, meer dan 3.000 klanten en een omzet van meer dan €50 miljoen.

Hoe ziet jouw dag er precies uit?

Dit is een technologische rol in het hart van Anchr. Vandaag wordt deze rol ingevuld door externe adviseurs — we willen dit intern brengen. De CTO bepaalt de technologiestrategie, begeleidt de bedrijven bij de adoptie van AI en ondersteunt hen doorheen veranderingstrajecten.

Wat bieden wij jou?

  • Competitief verloningspakket
  • Standplaats Mechelen (hoofdkantoor Anchr), minstens twee kantoordagen per week, met regelmatige verplaatsingen naar de Belgische en Nederlandse portfoliobedrijven.
  • Portfoliobedrijven hebben hulp nodig bij hun transformatie. Verschillende van de negen bedrijven draaien op oude codebases — vaak slechts grondig gekend door een handvol mensen. Deze rol helpt hen veilig te moderniseren en AI-native processen op te zetten die legacy-systemen makkelijker overdraagbaar maken.
  • Een kans om een leemte in technisch leiderschap in te vullen. Sommige bedrijven hebben nog geen sterk technisch leiderschap. Deze rol helpt die leemte te dichten — door de interne kandidaat verder te ontwikkelen of, indien nodig, door aan te werven.
  • De waarde van AI is nog niet zichtbaar in de cijfers. Er bestaan al echte AI-toepassingen binnen de groep, maar die vertalen zich nog niet in resultaten, terwijl concurrenten er al op prijzen en mee verkopen.
  • Negen bedrijven lossen dezelfde problemen elk apart op. Deze rol maakt delen de moeite waard — een platform dat niemand gebruikt, is erger dan helemaal geen platform.

Wat zoeken wij?

Je technische skills

  • Je gebruikt AI zelf, dagelijks — je raadt het niet enkel aan. Je gebruikt persoonlijk AI-tools voor coderen, reviewen, testen en migreren in je eigen werk, zodat je uit eigen ervaring weet wat echt tijd bespaart.
  • Je kunt een AI-native architectuur en processen opzetten om legacy codebases te helpen overdragen.
  • Je zet processen en opvolging op en verbetert continu.
  • Je voert technische due diligence uit bij nieuwe overnames.
  • Je herkent de senior engineer die eigenlijk al tech lead zou moeten zijn en helpt hem of haar die stap te zetten. Je werft enkel extern aan als er intern niemand is, en je kent de Benelux-talentmarkt.

Je soft skills

  • Je kunt leidinggeven zonder formeel gezag. Technisch genoeg om aan te schuiven bij een code review, diplomatisch genoeg om een founder-CEO uit te dagen die zijn bedrijf al van bij de start leidt.
  • Je zorgt dat kennis tussen teams stroomt. Je zet praktische manieren op waarmee teams oplossingen delen — met een echte eigenaar en echt vrijgemaakte tijd.
  • Je spreekt de taal van de business. Je kunt een business case opbouwen en die in commerciële termen verdedigen.
  • Je zorgt ervoor dat de holding en alle Anchr-bedrijven een AI-first aanpak hanteren in elk aspect van de business, of het nu gaat om finance, HR, legal, sales of eender welke andere afdeling.
  • Je rapporteert aan de leiding van Anchr, met zichtbaarheid naar onze investeerders.
