The posting

The College of Business & Economics at Anderson University seeks qualified adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate courses across a variety of business disciplines.

Potential teaching areas may include management, marketing, accounting, finance, economics, human resource management, entrepreneurship, supply chain management, business analytics, business law, sport management, organizational leadership, and other related areas of business.

Faculty are expected to integrate Christian biblical values into course discussions in ways that encourage thoughtful reflection, ethical decision-making, responsible stewardship, and the application of Christian principles to contemporary business practice. Ideal candidates will bring strong academic preparation, relevant professional experience, Christian faith, and a commitment to engaging students through practical, applied learning.

Teaching opportunities may be available in traditional, hybrid, and online formats depending on program needs.

Primary Responsibilities

Adjunct faculty will be responsible for teaching assigned undergraduate courses and supporting student learning in accordance with College and University expectations. Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality instruction within the assigned discipline
  • Facilitating meaningful student engagement and applied learning
  • Providing timely and substantive feedback to students
  • Assessing student learning in accordance with established course and program outcomes
  • Maintaining appropriate communication with students
  • Integrating Christian faith and biblical principles appropriately within the discipline
  • Supporting the mission and academic standards of Anderson University and the College of Business & Economics

Required Qualifications

Candidates must possess a master's degree or higher in business or a discipline appropriate to the courses they would be assigned to teach. Candidates should have appropriate graduate-level academic preparation in the relevant teaching discipline.

Relevant professional or industry experience is strongly preferred, particularly where that experience supports the practical and applied nature of the courses being taught.

Candidates must also demonstrate a commitment to the Christian mission and values of Anderson University.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

  • A Ph.D., D.B.A., or other appropriate terminal degree in a business discipline or closely related field
  • Prior college-level teaching experience
  • Experience teaching undergraduate students
  • Experience teaching in online or hybrid formats
  • Significant professional, industry, consulting, or leadership experience relevant to the candidate's teaching discipline

The College welcomes applications from qualified individuals across a broad range of business disciplines. Appointment to the adjunct faculty pool does not guarantee a teaching assignment. Course assignments are made based on academic qualifications, professional expertise, enrollment, and program needs.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
