The posting

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

ABOUT THE TEAM

The Manufacturing Team is responsible for rapidly iterating and building cutting-edge defense hardware, including electronic warfare systems, ground-based and expeditionary equipment, and flight vehicles. This responsibility includes everything in the manufacturing value-chain, including, but not limited to, Design for Manufacturability work, tool design & selection, process creation & optimization, vendor sourcing & interaction, quality planning, and work documentation associated with the hardware.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Manufacturing Specialist on our Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) Manufacturing team, you will be responsible for the assembly, integration, and test of complex EW systems — PCBAs, wire harnesses, and RF subassemblies built into parent mechanical assemblies — as well as the test equipment that supports them. You will own the process as much as the product: writing work instructions and routings, building fixtures, and proving out new configurations before they hit the production floor. Your expertise will help ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Assemble and integrate flight and non-flight EW hardware — PCBAs, wire harnesses, RF subassemblies, and chassis-level builds — to IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001, and IPC/WHMA-A-620 workmanship standards.
  • Author, redline, and maintain work instructions and routings in our MES, keeping as-built configuration accurate from first article through rate production
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot EW hardware and test equipment issues down to the component, connector, and cable level
  • Meticulously document test results and issues
  • Design and build tooling and fixtures for assembly, handling, and testing
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments and electrical and RF test equipment to ensure components meet specifications
  • Lead new product introduction and prototype builds, feeding manufacturability and work-instruction issues back to engineering
  • Train other technicians and support the transition of new configurations into production
  • Investigate and resolve nonconformances, providing feedback for continuous improvement

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years experience in aerospace, defense, electronics manufacturing, or other high-reliability industries
  • Hands-on electronic assembly experience, including PCBA rework, cable and harness fabrication, and connector termination
  • Electrical troubleshooting skills and familiarity with data acquisition devices and software
  • Mechanical assembly and troubleshooting ability, including fastener and torque control and enclosure-level integration
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of material
  • Computer skills necessary to test, document, and update digital systems, including MES and ERP transactions
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with RF or microwave assembly and test, including VNAs, spectrum analyzers, and VSWR or insertion loss measurement
  • IPC certification (CIS or CIT) in IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, or IPC/WHMA-A-620
  • Experience authoring work instructions and routings in an MES and supporting engineering change implementation
  • New product introduction or first-article build experience
  • Design and build of electrical and mechanical systems, including tooling and fixture design in CAD
  • Background in EW, radar, SIGINT, communications, or other RF payload hardware

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
