Mainframe IBM Z System Engineer – Storage Management

Poszukujemy doświadczonego Mainframe IBM Z System Engineer, który dołączy do zespołu odpowiedzialnego za zarządzanie i rozwój środowiska IBM Z Storage.

Rola skierowana jest do osób posiadających praktyczne doświadczenie w obszarze infrastruktury mainframe, w szczególności w zakresie zSeries Storage Management, IBM DS8K, wirtualnych bibliotek taśmowych oraz technologii SAN/FICON.

Zakres obowiązków

  • Zarządzanie i utrzymanie środowiska IBM Z / zSeries Storage.
  • Projektowanie, instalacja, aktualizacja oraz wsparcie infrastruktury dyskowej IBM DS8K.
  • Wykorzystanie DSCLI scripting oraz HMC GUI w codziennej pracy.
  • Projektowanie, instalacja, aktualizacja i wsparcie rozwiązań IBM Virtual Tape – TS7700.
  • Administracja i konfiguracja infrastruktury Broadcom/Brocade DCX.
  • Praca z technologiami FICON/FIBRE.
  • Konfiguracja oraz wykorzystanie SANnav i MAPS.
  • Wsparcie dużego, korporacyjnego środowiska IT oraz współpraca z zespołami z/OS, batch management i zespołami aplikacyjnymi.
  • Udział w procesach Change, Incident oraz Problem Management.
  • Analiza problemów technicznych i prowadzenie root cause analysis.
  • Wsparcie w zakresie capacity planning oraz prognozowania rozwoju infrastruktury.

Wymagania – Must Have

Hardware / Storage:

  • Praktyczne doświadczenie z zSeries Storage Management.
  • Bardzo dobra znajomość IBM DS8K – instalacja, projektowanie, upgrade oraz support.
  • Doświadczenie z DSCLI scripting oraz znajomość HMC GUI.
  • Znajomość IBM TS7700 Virtual Tape Solutions.
  • Doświadczenie z rozwiązaniami Broadcom/Brocade DCX.
  • Znajomość technologii i konfiguracji FICON/FIBRE.
  • Doświadczenie z SANnav oraz MAPS.

Software / Mainframe:

  • Znajomość podstawowych technologii IBM: z/OS, TSO, SDSF, JCL, IDCAMS, IWS.
  • Bardzo dobra znajomość technologii IBM Storage: DFHSM, DFDSS, ICKDSF, DFSMS (w tym OAM), TDMF, GDPS, CSM.
  • Znajomość rozwiązań Broadcom (CA): CA1, CA Vantage, CA Disk, CA Allocate, CA View.
  • Znajomość narzędzi Dino Software: T-Rex, Terradon.

Mile widziane

  • Znajomość zagadnień i technologii związanych z zSeries Systems Programming.
  • Doświadczenie we wsparciu dużych, złożonych środowisk IT klasy enterprise.
  • Znajomość procesów Change, Incident i Problem Management.
  • Doświadczenie w capacity planning, analizie wykorzystania zasobów i prognozowaniu wzrostu.
  • Analityczne i nastawione na rozwiązania podejście do problemów.
  • Umiejętność prowadzenia uporządkowanej analizy przyczyn źródłowych.
  • Proaktywność, dobra komunikacja oraz umiejętność współpracy z zespołami infrastrukturalnymi, systemowymi i aplikacyjnymi.
