Join our Clausewitz team as a Managing Tech Lead, where you'll help shape the technical future of our engine and tools ecosystem while leading and managing a team of talented programmers. We bring our games to life, creating immersive experiences for our ever-growing community. What You’ll Do.. As a Managing Tech Lead within the Clausewitz team, you will combine hands-on programming, technical leadership, and people management. You'll be responsible for both the technical direction of the team and supporting the growth, performance, and well-being of its members. You'll work closely with programmers, game teams, and other disciplines to drive technical direction, improve workflows, and support the long-term evolution of our technology. As the team's manager, you'll also foster a collaborative and supportive environment where individuals can develop their skills, take ownership, and succeed together. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of programmers, supporting their professional development, performance, and well-being.

Conduct regular one-on-ones, provide feedback, and support individual career development and growth.

Provide mentorship and technical guidance to programmers within the team.

Define and drive the technical vision for engine systems and tools.

Support the team in delivering stable, scalable, and high-performance solutions.

Plan and coordinate the team's work, balancing priorities, resources, and long-term technical goals.

Collaborate with game teams and other disciplines to improve workflows and development efficiency.

Foster a positive team culture built on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Help the team maintain development velocity while ensuring high code quality.

What We’re Looking For Strong C++ programming expertise, preferably within the game industry

Experience leading and managing programmers, including mentoring, feedback, and supporting individual development.

A genuine interest in people management and helping others grow and succeed.

Experience working with proprietary engines and complex technical systems

Leadership experience through mentoring, technical ownership, or leading teams

Experience with performance optimization, debugging, and scalable architectures

Comfortable working with multithreaded and cross-platform systems

Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly in English
