Ihre Hauptaufgaben und Tätigkeiten:

  • Leitung der MAIT-Organisation, die aktuell in sieben Abteilungen mit ca. 150 Mitarbeitenden unterteilt ist
  • Verantwortung für die „on Time, on Cost, on Quality“ - Lieferung von Orbitalantriebssystemen, Komponenten und Dienstleistungen
  • Planung des entsprechenden Personalbedarfs sowie Sicherstellung einer „lernenden Organisation“
  • Kontinuierliche Entwicklung der Kompetenzen der Mitarbeitenden gemäß den Anforderungen an den Bereich
  • Umsetzung von Make-or-Buy-Entscheidungen für den Verantwortungsbereich
  • Leitung des MAIT-CapEx-Prozesses inklusive der Realisierung der Investitionsmaßnahmen für den Bereich
  • Steuerung der Transformation des Bereichs durch Aufbau und Optimierung eines nachhaltigen und flexiblen Produktionssystems unter Einbeziehung externer Partner (m/w/d), das auf die Geschäftsstrategie und Produktpolitik zugeschnitten ist, sowie Sicherstellung der Wettbewerbsfähigkeit entlang der gesamten Produktionswertschöpfungskette
  • Ableitung und Erstellung der MAIT-Strategie aus der Geschäfts- und Produktstrategie unter Berücksichtigung der Entwicklungsstrategie für Serien- und Einzelprodukte
  • Kontinuierliche Steigerung der Effizienz durch Verbesserung der technischen und organisatorischen Produktionsprozesse, -methoden und -werkzeuge unter Berücksichtigung eines Lean Managementsystems und eines kontinuierlichen Verbesserungsprozesses
  • Einführung und Etablierung fortschrittlicher Produktionstechnologien, Industrie 4.0 und digitalbasierter Prozesse und Infrastruktur sowie teamorientierter Managementprinzipien
  • Mitwirkung an technischen und strategischen Diskussionen sowie am Angebotsprozess einschließlich der übergeordneten Make-or-Buy-Entscheidungen
  • Sicherstellung und Einhaltung von HSE-Vorschriften und -verantwortlichkeiten in Bezug auf Menschen und Infrastruktur

Sie besitzen folgende Qualifikationen:

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Maschinenbau / Luft- und Raumfahrt oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
  • Umfassende Berufserfahrung in der Gestaltung von Produktionssystemen und der Leitung operativer Einheiten, idealerweise in der Luft- und Raumfahrtindustrie
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen in modernen Produktionstechnologien für die Luft- und Raumfahrt sowie im Bereich Industrialisierung und moderne Arbeitsweisen, basierend auf Lean-Production-Konzepten und Industrie 4.0
  • Ausgeprägte Führungskompetenz sowie hohe soziale Kompetenz, verbunden mit Erfahrung in der Leitung großer, funktionsübergreifender Teams
  • Hohes Verantwortungsbewusstsein, Durchsetzungsstärke sowie eine lösungsorientierte Denk- und Handlungsweise
  • Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
