Als Innovation & Circularity Manager (all genders) treibst Du Materialinnovationen und zirkuläre Strategien voran, die direkt auf unsere Impact-Ziele einzahlen. Im Fokus steht die Reduktion des ökologischen Fußabdrucks unserer Produkte durch Materialien der nächsten Generation, zirkuläre Designprinzipien und skalierbare Systeme, die messbare CO2- und Ressourceneinsparungen ermöglichen. Als Schnittstelle zwischen Product, Supply Chain, Marketing und externen Partnern übersetzt Du unsere Nachhaltigkeitsambitionen in greifbare Ergebnisse und trägst so dazu bei, Mode neu zu definieren und Unternehmenswachstum von Umweltbelastung zu entkoppeln.

Publishing its progress annually through its Impact Report, ARMEDANGELS has grown from an initiative selling T-shirts to support social projects into one of Europe's leading fashion brands in this space. Today, with a team of more than 200 employees and four collections a year, the brand continues to explore new possibilities for fashion through innovation, collaboration and long-term thinking.

Mit diesen Aufgaben trägst Du zum Erfolg bei

  • Du entwickelst und setzt eine Materialinnovationsstrategie um, die auf unsere CO2-Reduktions- und Next-Gen-Faser-Ziele einzahlt – von der Suche und Bewertung neuer Materialtechnologien bis zur Steuerung von Innovationspilotprojekten (Konzept, Test, Validierung, Launch) in enger Zusammenarbeit mit Product, Supply Chain und externen Innovator*innen.
  • Du treibst die Umsetzung unserer Design-Prinzipien für Zirkularität in allen Produktkategorien voran, undverfolgst den Fortschritt unserer Zirkularitäts-KPIs im Rahmen der Impact*-Roadmap.
  • Du stellst Datenqualität und -konsistenz über Innovations- und Materialdatenbanken sicher, bringst Materialwirkungen in unsere LCA-Plattform (z. B. Carbonfact) ein und bewertest neue Initiativen anhand von Lebenszyklus-Kennzahlen und Umweltperformance.
  • Du arbeitest eng mit Marketing, E-Com und Retail zusammen, um Materialinnovationen glaubwürdig zu kommunizieren, schulst interne Teams im Umgang mit Nachhaltigkeitsthemen und sorgst dafür, dass Produkt-Storytelling und Impact-Daten zusammenpassen.
  • Du vertrittst ARMEDANGELS extern auf Panels, in Foren und bei branchenübergreifenden Initiativen und stärkst damit unsere Positionierung.

Das solltest Du mitbringen

  • Du hast ein abgeschlossenes Studium in Sustainability, Material Science, Textiltechnik, Circular Economy oder einem vergleichbaren Bereich (Master bevorzugt).
  • Du bringst 3–5+ Jahre Erfahrung in Sustainability, Impact Innovation oder Materialstrategie in der Fashionbranche mit.
  • Du hast ein tiefes Verständnis von bevorzugten und Next-Gen-Materialien sowie deren Lebenszyklen.
  • Du bringst nachgewiesene Erfahrung in Projektmanagement, Datenanalyse und funktionsübergreifender Zusammenarbeit mit.
  • Du bist kommunikationsstark in Englisch und idealerweise auch in Deutsch und legst Wert auf eine klare, konsequente Umsetzung.
