Job Description

Actively manage and develop customer sales accounts from the office through telephone, email and other sales channels. Handle product enquiries, prepare quotations, follow up to secure orders and achieve sales targets.

Roles& Responsibilities

· Handle incoming and outgoing sales enquiries and actively follow up quotations to convert opportunities into confirmed orders.

· Maintain and develop customer accounts, identify new prospects and encourage repeat business.

· Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable steel, metal and industrial products.

· Prepare quotations, review product availability and negotiate prices within approved commercial guidelines.

· Coordinate with Outdoor Sales on customer accounts, sales opportunities and follow-up actions.

· Liaise with Warehouse, Logistics and relevant departments on stock availability, order status and delivery commitments.

· Resolve sales-related customer enquiries, complaints, pricing questions and product issues promptly.

· Monitor customer buying patterns, outstanding quotations and potential opportunities for additional sales.

· Update customer information, quotations and sales transactions accurately in SAP Business One or the designated system.

· Provide sales performance updates, customer account information and relevant reports to Management.

· Coordinate necessary sales documentation with Sales Administration, without making routine clerical processing the primary function.

· For Senior Executive appointment, manage more complex/key accounts and guide junior colleagues when assigned.

· Perform other related sales duties assigned by the Head of Sales or Management.

Requirements

· GCE Level, Diploma or equivalent qualification; relevant sales ability and experience will be considered.

· Preferably2–5 years of indoor sales, B2B sales, customer account management or trading experience; suitable candidates with less experience may be considered at Executive level.

· Experience n steel, metal, manufacturing supplies or industrial product sales is an advantage.

· Able to actively sell, negotiate within approved guidelines, follow up quotations and secure sales orders.

· Good communication, customer relationship management and commercial awareness.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP Business One or other ERP experience is an advantage.

· Detail-oriented in quotations and order details, while maintaining a sales-driven approach.

· Senior Executive level requires stronger independent account management, sales judgement and customer handling.

· Candidates whose experience is limited to sales order data entry or general sales administration may not meet the core sales requirements.
