Your Role
- Manage day-to-day coordination of support service suppliers, ensuring services are delivered in line with contractual requirements and company procedures.
- Provide administrative support to the Support Services Manager, including diary management, meeting coordination, minute taking, purchase orders, and record keeping.
- Act as a key point of contact for customers, partners and suppliers, resolving enquiries, complaints and service issues professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain training records, briefing registers, operational reports, newsletters, and performance documentation.
- Support health, safety and compliance activities through audits, assessments, reporting and maintenance of supplier documentation.
- Coordinate waste, recycling and specialist disposal services across the Garrison, including monitoring service delivery and associated records.
- Support supplier performance meetings, customer communications, events, visits, and wider departmental activities as required.
- Provide cover for Office Services supervision when required and maintain stock control for stationery and commodities.
- Assist with recruitment activities and undertake additional duties as reasonably required by management.
What We're Looking For
- Qualifications: Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) in English and Maths, with strong IT literacy and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. A full clean driving licence and IOSH Managing Safely Certificate (or equivalent) are essential.
- Experience: Proven experience providing administrative support within a demanding, performance-driven environment. Experience managing stakeholders, handling customer enquiries, and supporting operational service delivery is essential. The ability to work flexibly, use initiatives and maintain high standards of organisation is required.
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong relationship-building abilities and a professional, discreet approach to confidential information. Highly organised, proactive and able to prioritise workloads effectively, with a positive can-do attitude and strong problem-solving capability.
