The posting

Waccamaw Management is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support a condominium community in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Daily responsibilities:

  • Walk and inspect the community for cleanliness.
  • Clean assigned areas including furniture, fixtures, walls, windows, window sills, blinds and vents.
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum all area floors, rest rooms and break areas.
  • Clean rest room facilities and replenish supplies.
  • Perform general maintenance duties (painting, light carpentry, etc.).
  • Collect and remove trash and recyclable.
  • Ensuring grounds are free of litter and debris.
  • Assist with routine and preventative maintenance.
  • Other duties as requested.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and spoken.
  • Customer service driven and team oriented.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, takes the initiative, with strong follow-up skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Physical Requirements: • Ability to safely operate, climb and perform work on ladders • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds on a frequent basis. • Must be able to sit, stand, bend, pull/push, grasp, twist, reach above shoulder, use hands and fingers, have clear vision, walk, stoop, kneel and climb. • Must be able to work in all elements of weather conditions
