This is a hands-on senior leadership role for an experienced Construction Manager, Field Manager, or Senior Superintendent who can lead teams, navigate complex mechanical systems, and work confidently with customers and national General and Mechanical Contractors. You will connect project planning with field execution, resolve challenges as they arise, and help teams deliver work safely, on schedule, within scope, and on budget.

What You’ll Do

  • Direct field execution strategy, work sequencing, resource coordination, and day-to-day operational performance.
  • Partner with Project Managers and field supervisors to align work with approved scope, schedules, budgets, and quality requirements.
  • Resolve escalated field issues and make timely decisions that protect employees, project commitments, and customer outcomes.

Provide technical leadership

  • Guide field teams through complex challenges involving mechanical and piping systems, high-purity systems, chemical cleaning, passivation, flushing, and commissioning.
  • Review project plans, procedures, drawings, and specifications to identify execution risks and confirm work can be performed effectively.
  • Coordinate with Engineering and Technical Services to resolve technical issues and maintain Astro Pak’s standards and procedures.

Build customer and contractor confidence

  • Work directly with end users, owners’ representatives, and national General and Mechanical Contractors.
  • Lead on-site coordination meetings and represent Astro Pak in project discussions.
  • Communicate project status, address concerns early, and manage expectations throughout execution.
  • Support Project Managers with field-driven scope clarifications, change management, and issue resolution.

Champion safety and quality

  • Set clear expectations for safe work practices, hazard recognition, proper PPE use, and compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Verify that quality standards are maintained throughout project execution.
  • Participate in incident investigations and help develop corrective actions when needed.

Develop teams and improve execution

  • Mentor field leaders, Project Leaders, and technicians through hands-on coaching and technical guidance.
  • Deliver field and classroom training to strengthen technical capabilities and project readiness.
  • Share field updates, risk assessments, and recommendations with the Vice President of Field Operations.
  • Capture lessons learned and improve field execution methods, procedures, and training materials.
  • Model Astro Pak’s core values through your leadership and decisions.

  • The ability to troubleshoot technical issues, assess risk, and make sound decisions in demanding field environments.
  • Strong financial and schedule awareness, with an understanding of how field decisions affect project performance.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to earn credibility with technicians, field leaders, customers, and executives.
  • The ability to work independently while coordinating support across project and operations teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard project documentation tools.
  • A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
  • Availability to travel 75% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Semiconductor, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Aerospace, or Data Center construction.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field. Equivalent practical experience will be considered.
  • OSHA 30-Hour training and relevant construction or safety certifications.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
