Your ability to interpret system drawings, manage changing field conditions, and communicate clearly with customers will help deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced chemical cleaning leader who understands the coordination, precision, and accountability required when working on complex data center projects.

What You’ll Do

Lead Data Center Field Projects

  • Plan and oversee chemical cleaning projects and shutdowns supporting data center systems, including assignments involving multiple crews and circuits.
  • Establish work plans, staffing assignments, equipment requirements, and resources for each phase of a project.
  • Coordinate daily activities with customer representatives and other on-site teams to align work with project schedules, site requirements, and system readiness.
  • Set clear expectations, delegate responsibilities, and monitor crew performance and project progress.
  • Manage labor, equipment, materials, and other project costs to meet budget and gross profit goals.
  • Mentor Associate Technicians and Field Technicians, developing their technical skills and reinforcing accountability for safety and quality.

Provide Hands-On Technical Leadership

  • Read piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and mark flow paths for crew and customer review.
  • Plan equipment, skid, and hose configurations to optimize flow and chemical contact across project circuits.
  • Direct and perform chemical cleaning, hydrostatic and pneumatic testing, and system drying to specified dew points, along with other cleaning processes required by the project.
  • Perform pH neutralization, calibration, and testing to support proper process execution.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and chemical mixture issues, adjusting execution plans as needed.
  • Oversee the safe handling and use of citric acid, caustics, and other hazardous chemicals.

Manage Scope and Customer Communication

  • Conduct job walks, assess site conditions, and help define scopes of work to support estimates and bids.
  • Serve as a key on-site contact for data center customers, communicating project progress, resource needs, and issues requiring resolution.
  • Identify work outside the contracted scope and communicate change order requirements to the customer and Operations Manager.
  • Maintain clear communication as schedules, site conditions, or customer requirements change.

Lead Safety and Job-Site Readiness

  • Complete Pre-Job Hazard Analyses (PJHAs) and ensure crews understand task-specific hazards and controls.
  • Lead 10-minute safety talks, facilitate monthly safety training, and complete required safety training.
  • Ensure compliance with company and customer site safety procedures, including appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Coordinate loading, unloading, and readiness of company vehicles, equipment, and chemicals.
  • Operate company vehicles and equipment as assigned and maintain clean, efficient, organized work areas consistent with CEO/5S standards.

What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Experience directing field crews and coordinating personnel, equipment, and project resources.
  • Ability to lead shutdowns involving multiple crews and circuits.
  • Ability to read P&IDs and translate technical information into clear field instructions.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and customer communication skills.
  • OSHA certification and a valid DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate.

  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
