The posting

Astrolab is The Lunar Operations Company. We design and build the systems and hardware the lunar economy will come to depend on — rovers, power, and data networks for sustained operations on the Moon. We are focused on the problems that must be solved before the next chapter of human exploration can scale. The Moon does not forgive untested assumptions. The people who work here know that, and they wouldn't have it any other way.

The Internship Program Manager will be developing, implementing, and managing Astrolab's internship program from the ground up. This role partners closely with Recruiting, Engineering, Operations, and business leaders to attract, hire, onboard, and support interns across technical and business functions. This is not your standard college campus recruiting program. The Intern Program Manager will build and operate the best new space internship program in the country! This position will report to the Manager of Technical Recruiting.

What you'll do:

  • Develop, own, and refine Astrolab's internship program from inception through program completion
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify internship needs and coordinate recruiting activities
  • Build and maintain relationships with student organizations and other early career talent sources
  • Coordinate intern recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and offboarding activities
  • Plan and facilitate intern orientation, training, networking events, and final presentations
  • Track program metrics and recommend improvements to recruiting strategies and the overall intern experience
  • Maintain internship documentation and ensure OFCCP compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations
  • Collaborate with Recruiting, People Operations, and business leaders to support a positive and consistent intern experience

What you'll bring:

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience running internship programs, university recruiting, talent acquisition, program management, or related experience
  • Experience building or scaling internship or early career programs
  • Experience partnering with universities, student organizations, and faculty to build talent pipelines (preferably technical organizations and events such as robotics competitions!)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Experience supporting engineering, aerospace, or other technical organizations
  • Experience managing intern conversion programs and measuring hiring outcomes
  • Familiarity with OFCCP, EEO, and employment law as it relates to university recruiting
  • Experience managing intern conversion programs and measuring hiring outcomes

Benefits and Perks

  • Join a team of best-in-class engineers building the foundation of planetary surface exploration
  • Equity ownership in the company
  • Comprehensive health benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and mental health support
  • 401(k) plan with company match
  • Flexible PTO and parental leave
  • Home office set up reimbursement
  • Weekly lunch stipend, plus complimentary snacks and beverages on-site
  • Once a month social hour on-site with food and drinks

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?
