As Accounting Manager, you will take ownership of the accounting and financial reporting responsibilities, as well as payroll and benefits administration of ATBS by aiding and reporting to the Controller. You will prepare financial statements, monitor accounts payable and receivable, process payroll, and assist in budgeting. In this role, you will also work to design and implement new systems and processes to improve efficiency and protect company assets. You will manage, coach, and inspire employees while ensuring that accounting processes comply with generally accepted accounting principles and adhere to Federal and State regulations. .

About the Opportunity:
- Own and accelerate the month-end close reporting and preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, statements of income, and statements of cash flow and other supporting reports
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and income statement variance analysis to explain monthly fluctuations to management.
- Own implementations of new systems regarding modifying or replacing existing processes to be more efficient
- Supervise employees by inspiring, mentoring, and instructing regarding processes for A/R, A/P, and collection activities, ensuring processes are improved and resolved in a timely manner
- Accurately process bi-weekly payroll and maintain benefit plans, including updating personnel records in accordance with applicable regulations
- Coordinate with the Controller to generate financial reports for the external audit and budgeting process.
About Your Expertise:
- CPA
- Accounting degree is preferred
- Minimum 4 years of accounting experience with 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience
- Experience preparing financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and leading implementation teams
- Payroll processing experience preferred
- Proficiency with ERPs and Excel
- Meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as high proficiency in math, accounting, and financial processes
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent critical thinking skills

- Proficient understanding of GAAP and applicable regulations
