The posting
Atheer Connectivity is a Saudi deep-tech company building carrier-grade 60 GHz fixed-wireless infrastructure for high-speed telecom connectivity. We design and manufacture telecom hardware for operator deployments, with products that demand reliable execution from early builds through scaled production. As the business moves from product validation into volume manufacturing, this role will help turn strong engineering into repeatable, high-quality production.
This is a hands-on manufacturing role for someone who is comfortable working closely with external partners, solving issues on the line, and keeping hardware programs moving. You will act as a key owner of the manufacturing side of the business, helping bridge design, supply chain, quality, and production so builds stay on track and problems are addressed quickly and thoroughly.
Responsibilities
- Manage contract manufacturers and component suppliers on a day-to-day basis.
- Drive hardware builds through EVT, DVT, PVT, and mass production, with a focus on yield, test coverage, production-line issues, and corrective actions.
- Execute supply-chain activities including BOM management, lead times, allocations, alternate sourcing, and cost reduction.
- Oversee quality processes including incoming inspection, failure analysis and RMA investigations, 8D reports, and supplier audits.
- Coordinate ECN and ECO engineering changes between the design team and manufacturing partners.
- Support manufacturing test development, RF calibration, and production validation activities, including on-site support for builds and issue resolution at manufacturing partners.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 5+ years of production or manufacturing engineering experience for RF or wireless hardware, including products such as radios, CPE, mmWave, Wi-Fi, or similar equipment.
- Experience managing NPI builds spanning EVT, DVT, PVT, and mass production.
- Hands-on knowledge of SMT and PCBA processes, RF calibration and production testing, and basic RF test equipment.
- Experience with BOM, ECO, and ECN control, along with strong root-cause analysis and 8D problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing Chinese or Taiwanese EMS partners and component distributors.
- Hands-on knowledge of outdoor product assembly, including enclosures and IP sealing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Drive.
- Willingness and ability to work on-site at manufacturing partners during builds, as well as remotely when required.
- Experience with supply-chain management, including lead-time planning, component allocation, alternate sourcing, and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Experience with supplier quality management, including incoming inspections, failure analysis, RMA investigations, supplier audits, and corrective-action processes.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- IPC-A-610 or Six Sigma certification.
- Mandarin proficiency.
- Available to start within 1–2 months.
