Main Description

As a part of The Reef Housekeeping team, you will be is responsible for receiving, organizing, storing, and distributing supplies to support daily operations. This role ensures storerooms are maintained in a clean, orderly, and secure condition, monitors inventory levels, and assists with stock control processes to ensure materials are readily available and stored in accordance with company standards. Through accuracy, organization, and attention to detail, the Storekeeper helps maintain efficient inventory management and operational excellence.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive, store, organize, and distribute supplies.
  • Process and maintain storeroom requisitions and records.
  • Monitor and control inventory of supplies, amenities, and special items.
  • Stock shelves, caddies, and chemical supplies as needed.
  • Receive and unload deliveries from the loading dock.
  • Conduct inventory counts and maintains accurate stock levels.
  • Ensure storerooms and work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with standards.
  • Maintain company equipment and report malfunctions promptly.
  • The Company operates a twenty-four (24) hour business. Therefore, you may be rostered to work shifts, which may change from time to time.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent vocational training
  • Minimum 1 year experience as hotel cleaner or in janitorial / cleaning position preferred
  • Must be literate with above average verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a self-motivated environment with little supervision
  • Ability to manage the administration of multiple tasks at one time
