Position Overview

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our DevOps team and help ensure the quality, reliability, and readiness of Atlas Technica’s applications and technical solutions.

The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for planning and executing functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and API testing while validating releases against established technical standards, requirements, and expected user outcomes. This role will work closely with developers and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle to identify risks early, document defects clearly, and ensure issues are appropriately resolved before release.

The successful candidate will combine strong manual testing experience with analytical thinking, attention to detail, clear documentation, and a continuous-improvement mindset. This individual should also be comfortable identifying opportunities to improve and automate testing processes as the QA function continues to mature.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, API, and post-deployment testing across web-based applications and related systems
  • Review user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria and provide feedback to improve clarity, completeness, and testability
  • Develop and maintain test cases, checklists, scenarios, test plans, and other QA documentation
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects while collaborating closely with developers through resolution and validation
  • Maintain and expand regression test suites to support consistent release quality
  • Conduct release-readiness assessments, post-deployment validation, and risk analysis before and after production changes
  • Evaluate application behavior against established technical standards, requirements, and expected outcomes
  • Continuously improve QA processes, testing practices, documentation standards, and quality-control workflows
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive testing activities and improve the efficiency and consistency of QA processes
  • Collaborate with developers, product stakeholders, and other internal teams throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Communicate testing status, defects, risks, blockers, and release-readiness concerns clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance or software testing, with strong manual-testing experience
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, software testing techniques, defect management, and the software development lifecycle
  • Experience testing complex web applications across user interface, backend, integration, and API layers
  • Demonstrated ability to develop high-quality test cases, checklists, scenarios, and supporting test documentation
  • Experience using QA, development, or defect-management platforms such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar tools
  • Working understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience testing within integrated development and deployment environments
  • Experience working within Agile or Scrum development teams
  • Basic knowledge of T-SQL with the ability to use data to support testing and validation activities
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document defects, risks, test results, and technical information clearly
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Desirable Qualities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience developing or maintaining automated test cases, scripts, or testing frameworks
  • Familiarity with API-testing tools and techniques
  • Experience contributing to QA process improvement, test automation, or broader quality-engineering initiatives
  • Experience working closely with DevOps or software engineering teams in a continuous delivery environment
  • Strong technical curiosity with an interest in improving testing efficiency, coverage, and release quality
  • Experience helping establish or mature QA standards, documentation, or repeatable testing practices

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
