This role also offers exposure to more advanced support, infrastructure, and project work as technical capability develops.

The successful candidate will combine strong technical troubleshooting skills with excellent communication, organization, ownership, and a customer-first approach to supporting users and client environments.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite IT support and technical assistance to users
  • Manage and resolve support requests through the organization’s ticketing system
  • Troubleshoot end-user issues across Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and related technologies
  • Support Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Entra ID
  • Assist with systems administration across Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, identity, access, and endpoint-management technologies
  • Troubleshoot networking, virtualization, security, and infrastructure-related issues within assigned client environments
  • Escalate complex technical issues appropriately and collaborate with Senior Systems Engineers and other technical resources through resolution
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, ticket notes, procedures, and client-environment information
  • Follow Atlas Technica’s technical standards, security requirements, documentation expectations, and strict change-control procedures
  • Participate in advanced support, infrastructure initiatives, and project work as experience and technical capability develop

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant IT experience in desktop support, systems engineering, systems administration, or a related technical environment
  • Strong end-user and desktop support experience across Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and common workplace technologies
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Entra ID
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and related systems-administration technologies
  • Experience supporting endpoint protection or threat-management solutions such as Sophos or similar platforms
  • Basic understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, VPN, routing, switching, wireless networking, and firewalls
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users
  • Strong troubleshooting, organization, documentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced support environment
  • Previous experience working within an MSP, professional services, or high-touch client support environment strongly preferred
  • Ability to work onsite full-time in the Atlas Technica London office
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements necessary to support onsite IT operations, including occasionally lifting or carrying equipment up to approximately 23 kg (50 lbs), sitting or standing for extended periods, climbing stairs, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and safely accessing workstations, equipment, and other onsite IT areas as required

Desirable Qualities:

  • Financial services experience supporting hedge funds, private equity firms, investment managers, or similar organizations
  • Familiarity with financial market applications such as Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, FactSet, or Capital IQ
  • MSP experience, particularly with ConnectWise or similar service-management platforms
  • Exposure to Microsoft Azure, AWS, or other public-cloud environments
  • Experience with platforms such as Google Workspace, Box, Dropbox, Duo, Okta, AirWatch, or similar technologies
  • Experience supporting Citrix XenApp or similar virtual application technologies

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
