What you’ll do
As a Recruiter, you will play a critical role in scaling the teams in Atoms across the Middle East and beyond.
You will
- Own the full recruitment lifecycle for Field Engineering and Field Operations roles supporting autonomous haulage deployments, including on-site rotational positions at mining operations in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East
- Partner directly with leadership and site managers to define hiring needs, calibrate on technical talent, and align recruiting strategy to deployment timelines and customer commitments.
- Build deep pipelines across three distinct talent pools: mining operations leaders (Site Superintendents, Fleet Managers, Maintenance Managers with autonomy or technology rollout experience); field service and mechatronics technicians (vehicle electrics, CAN bus, sensors, ECUs, heavy equipment); and robotics/software engineers (Linux, embedded systems, Python/C++, localisation, controls, sensor fusion).
- Market-map the mining, heavy equipment OEM, automotive electronics and autonomous vehicle sectors to find talent that rarely applies through job boards.
- Sell a demanding proposition well: FIFO rotations, rugged site environments, five-day onsite work, and the chance to put autonomy into production rather than a slide deck.
- Drive strategic hiring initiatives that improve time-to-fill, increase hiring quality, and support aggressive deployment plans.
- Use funnel data and insights to identify bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and maintain a consistently high bar for talent.
What we’re looking for
- 4–6 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally hiring technical, field or operations talent for mining, heavy industry, construction equipment, automotive, robotics or autonomous vehicle companies.
- Working understanding of the roles you'll hire for: you can hold a credible conversation about mine production cycles, DBW kits and CAN diagnostics, or embedded Linux debugging, and know what a strong profile looks like in each.
- Experience recruiting for remote, rotational or site-based roles, and familiarity with GCC labour markets and mobilisation (Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East) is a strong plus.
- Proven success managing high-impact, fast-moving searches across multiple geographies and time zones.
- A strategic partner who can influence engineering and operations leaders, advise on talent markets, and drive clarity in role definition and levelling.
- Exceptional communicator able to build trust with senior stakeholders, site leadership and hands-on technical candidates alike.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and data-driven, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, execution-heavy environment.
- Mission-first mindset: comfortable operating with urgency and extreme ownership.

Atoms is a company driven by invention and continuous change - we are constantly reimagining our industries, building new products, and refining how we operate. We do our best work together. That’s why all of our office-based teams work onsite, five days a week.
