We partner with leading brands to deliver innovative sustainability solutions while driving India's circular economy initiatives.

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Manager – EPR Business Development to lead the expansion of our Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) business. The role involves acquiring new enterprise clients, managing strategic relationships with Producers, Importers, Brand Owners (PIBOs), OEMs, and corporate customers while driving revenue growth across EPR compliance solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong business development capabilities, deep understanding of EPR regulations, and the ability to build long-term strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business development initiatives for Attero's EPR business across e-waste, battery waste, and non-ferrous metals.
  • Acquire and manage strategic relationships with Producers, Importers, Brand Owners (PIBOs), OEMs, and large enterprise customers.
  • Drive sales of EPR compliance solutions, EPR credits, sustainability services, and regulatory advisory offerings.
  • Develop and execute business strategies to achieve annual revenue and growth targets.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with regulatory authorities, industry associations, and ecosystem partners.
  • Guide clients on EPR compliance requirements and evolving environmental regulations.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Compliance, Finance, Legal, and Commercial teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor regulatory developments, market trends, policy changes, and competitor activities to identify emerging business opportunities.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, contract closures, and long-term customer partnerships.
  • Mentor and lead the EPR Business Development team while driving customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Represent Attero in industry conferences, sustainability forums, and regulatory engagements.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Environmental Sciences, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • MBA preferred.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 6+ years of experience in Business Development, Enterprise Sales, Sustainability Consulting, EPR, Environmental Services, Waste Management.
  • Must have experience working with EPR compliance, recycling, environmental consulting, or regulatory businessess.
  • Strong understanding of Indian environmental regulations and EPR frameworks.
  • Proven track record of handling large enterprise customers and complex commercial negotiations.
  • Strong Business Development & Sales expertise, High Business Acumen, Relationship Management, Procurement & Supply Chain Understanding, Leadership & Team Management
  • Revenue Growth & Target Achievement, Commercial & Contract Negotiation, Strategic Account Management
  • Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis, Excellent Communication & Presentation Skills
