Descripción del empleo

Proveer un servicio de lavandería impecable y oportuno a huéspedes y departamentos del hotel, garantizando el procesamiento correcto de linen, uniformes y ropa de huéspedes conforme a los estándares de calidad, higiene y presentación establecidos por la propiedad, contribuyendo a una experiencia de lujo excepcional.

Deberes y Responsabilidades:

Operativas

  • Clasificar el linen sucio conforme a los procedimientos establecidos previo a su procesamiento.
  • Cargar lavadoras y secadoras con el linen utilizando los programas y procesos adecuados para cada tipo de prenda.
  • Utilizar el mangle correctamente mediante la programación adecuada, asegurando un acabado impecable.
  • Doblar toallas y demás prendas conforme a los estándares y procedimientos de presentación del hotel.
  • Verificar las indicaciones de lavado antes de procesar ropa de huéspedes, revisando su estado y reportando al supervisor cualquier daño detectado previo al proceso.
  • Revisar las bolsas de uniformes y ropa de huéspedes para evitar que objetos personales ingresen al proceso de lavado.
  • Revisar las condiciones del linen durante y después del proceso, reportando al supervisor cualquier pieza dañada y reprogramando su lavado con la fórmula adecuada.
  • Presentar el producto final de manera impecable, siguiendo los estándares y procedimientos establecidos.
  • Manejar adecuadamente los procesos de lavado asignados en su horario de trabajo, gestionando múltiples tareas de forma simultánea y eficiente.
  • Asegurarse de contar con el material adecuado y darle el uso correcto, contribuyendo al control de insumos y la eliminación de desperdicios.
  • Apoyar la filosofía de la compañía en todo momento.

Servicio al Huésped y Cliente Interno

  • Garantizar que los servicios de lavandería sean entregados en tiempo y en perfectas condiciones tanto a huéspedes como a los departamentos del hotel.
  • Mantener una actitud cordial, profesional y proactiva en todo momento.
  • Representar la imagen de lujo del hotel en cada interacción.

Seguridad

  • Cumplir con las normas de seguridad e higiene establecidas.
  • Utilizar correctamente el equipo de protección personal, especialmente en el manejo de químicos y maquinaria.
  • Conocer y aplicar los protocolos de emergencia.

Requisitos

  • Experiencia previa en lavandería hotelera o industrial.
  • Habilidad numérica básica para el manejo de factores de productividad e insumos.
  • Experiencia en hoteles de lujo.
  • Secundaria concluida.
  • Disponibilidad para horarios flexibles y diferentes turnos.
  • Actitud positiva y profesional.
  • Conocimiento en operación de maquinaria de lavandería y manejo de químicos.
  • Orientación al servicio de lujo.
