Für POLITICO Pro Deutschland suchen wir ein Senior Reporter Verteidigung. Du recherchierst mit analytischer Tiefe und einem starken Gespür für relevante Themen trägst du dazu bei, unsere Leser mit den Informationen zu versorgen, die sie für fundierte Entscheidungen benötigen, und prägst die Berichterstattung zu den zentralen Politikthemen aktiv mit.

Stellenbeschreibung

  • du recherchierst, analysierst und bewertest eigenständig relevante Entwicklungen aus in der Verteidigungs-, Sicherheits- und Rüstungspolitik sowie deren Auswirkungen für POLITICO Pro
  • du führst Interviews, verfasst Beiträge und setzt eigene Themen von der Idee bis zur Veröffentlichung um
  • du etablierst und pflegst Kontakte zu wichtigen Stakeholdern und trägst so zur Identifikation relevanter Entwicklungen und Themen bei
  • du übernimmst die redaktionelle Verantwortung für anspruchsvolle Projekte
  • du arbeitest eng mit dem Team zusammen und prägst die Themenplanung aktiv mit

Qualifikationen

  • du verfügst über mehrjährige journalistische Erfahrung im Verteidigungs- oder Politikjournalismus
  • dein Gespür für exklusive Themen und relevante Entwicklungen zeichnet dich aus
  • du überzeugst durch eine hervorragende Schreibe sowie exzellente Redigier- und Analysefähigkeiten
  • du arbeitest eigeninitiativ, strukturiert und verantwortungsbewusst und verfügst über verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
