Namens CMSNL, onderdeel van Powersports Distribution Group (PDG), zijn wij op zoek naar een Head of Sales.

Over CMSNL

CMSNL (Consolidated Motor Spares B.V.) is in 1996 opgericht in Lelystad als specialist in onderdelen voor klassieke Honda-motorfietsen en breidde het assortiment daarna uit naar Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki en andere merken. Vandaag is het bedrijf een internationaal opererende online distributeur van originele onderdelen, new old stock en reproductie-onderdelen voor motorfietsen, ATV's en powersports. Voor onderdelen die de fabrikant niet meer levert, laat CMSNL op basis van de originele mallen nieuwe series produceren. Het bedrijf werkt vanuit Lelystad en Enschede en bedient zowel particulieren als ruim 4.500 zakelijke klanten wereldwijd.

Sinds 2019 maakt CMSNL deel uit van Powersports Distribution Group (PDG), naast zusterbedrijven als Hoco Parts, Motorcycle Storehouse, Motoria en AFAM. Daarmee combineert het bedrijf een ondernemende, hands-on cultuur met de ondersteuning van een internationale groep.

De functie

CMSNL is in de basis een e-commerce-organisatie, zonder commerciële buitendienst. De B2B-verkoop verloopt nu grotendeels vraaggestuurd: de klant zoekt een onderdeel en CMSNL levert. Als Head of Sales brengt u hier structuur en actieve sturing in aan. U bouwt kennis op over wie de zakelijke klanten zijn, welke merken zij onderhouden en wat zij nodig hebben, en gebruikt die kennis om klanten gericht en online te benaderen met het assortiment en de voorraad van CMSNL.

U geeft leiding aan de pijler Sales, bestaande uit Customer Support en Marketing (circa 15 fte, verdeeld over Lelystad en Enschede). U maakt deel uit van het managementteam en rapporteert aan de Managing Director.

Belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden

  • Opzetten en invoeren van een klantclassificatie: segmentatie van het B2B-bestand naar omvang, merkfocus, afnamepatroon en werkplaatscapaciteit
  • Ontwikkelen en uitvoeren van de verkoopstrategie en het verkoopplan, gericht op de stap van reactieve naar actieve B2B-verkoop
  • Versterken van de samenwerking met zusterbedrijven Hoco Parts en Motorcycle Storehouse, zodat hun verkooporganisaties het assortiment van CMSNL meenemen in hun klantcontacten, in nauwe afstemming met de managers van deze bedrijven
  • Zelf actief omzet genereren bij bestaande en nieuwe B2B-klanten, in binnen- en buitenland
  • Aansturen en ontwikkelen van Customer Support en Marketing
  • Structureren van salesprocessen, KPI's en rapportages
  • Samenwerken met Inkoop/Product Management en Operations bij assortiments- en voorraadkeuzes

Wat wij zoeken

  • HBO+/academisch werk- en denkniveau
  • Circa 8 tot 10 jaar commerciële B2B-ervaring, waarvan minimaal 3 jaar in een leidinggevende of eindverantwoordelijke salesrol
  • Aantoonbare ervaring met klantsegmentatie en datagedreven verkoop (CRM, ERP, BI)
  • Ervaring met de ontwikkeling van reactieve naar actieve verkoop, bij voorkeur via inside sales en online kanalen
  • Ervaring met samenwerken binnen een groep of matrixstructuur, waarin resultaat ook afhangt van collega's buiten de eigen lijn
  • Ervaring in de motorfietsbranche, powersports, automotive aftermarket of technische e-commerce is een pre
  • Energiek en actiegericht, analytisch, sturend en gericht op samenwerking; pragmatisch in de uitvoering en strategisch in de richting
  • Vloeiend in Nederlands en Engels; Duits of Frans is een pre
