Are you an experienced Mandarin teacher who loves working with young children? Do you enjoy making language learning fun through songs, stories, games, and cultural activities?

Bambini Montessori Academy is URGENTLY HIRING a Part-Time Mandarin Teacher! We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, and experienced educator to introduce children ages 2–5 to Mandarin and Chinese culture in an engaging, interactive, and age-appropriate way.

Earn $25 per hour while sharing your language skills and making a meaningful difference in early childhood education!

POSITION DETAILS

Position: Part-Time Mandarin Teacher Pay Rate: $25 per hour Schedule: Approximately 10 hours per week Age Group: Children ages 2–5 Locations: Must be willing to travel between our preschool locations as needed Work Setting: Montessori Preschool

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Help make every Mandarin lesson an exciting opportunity for children to learn, explore, and grow!

  • Teach Mandarin Through Play: Introduce Mandarin vocabulary, pronunciation, and basic language skills through fun, interactive, age-appropriate lessons.
  • Bring Chinese Culture to Life: Incorporate Chinese songs, stories, games, movement, and cultural activities into classroom experiences.
  • Encourage Confidence and Curiosity: Create a welcoming, positive learning environment that inspires children to participate, explore, and communicate.
  • Support Montessori Education: Collaborate with classroom teachers to complement the Montessori environment and support children's developmental needs.
  • Make Learning Memorable: Use hands-on activities and playful teaching methods to help young learners enjoy discovering a new language.

QUALIFICATIONS — ARE YOU THE RIGHT FIT?

Required Qualifications:

  • Previous experience teaching Mandarin is required.
  • Fluency in Mandarin is required; native or near-native proficiency is preferred.
  • Genuine passion for teaching and working with young children.
  • Ability to deliver engaging, interactive, and age-appropriate language lessons.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between preschool locations as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with preschool-aged children, especially ages 2–5.
  • Previous experience in a Montessori environment is a plus, but not required.
