Position outputs

To lead the analytics and Power BI reporting function, ensuring delivery of trusted, high-quality, and actionable insights that support business decision-making. The role combines hands-on development, technical leadership, governance, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring analytics outputs are scalable, consistent, and aligned to business needs, while mentoring analysts and driving analytics excellence.

• Lead design, development, and delivery of Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models

• Define and enforce analytics standards (data models, DAX, UX, deployment practices)

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to BI developers and analysts

• Own quality assurance across all reporting and analytics outputs

• Partner with data engineering and governance teams to ensure trusted, business-ready data

• Engage stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting requirements

• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and reporting standards

• Drive adoption and effective use of Power BI across the organisation

• High-quality Power BI dashboards and reports

• Standardised, reusable semantic data models

• Defined analytics standards and governance frameworks

• Trusted KPI frameworks and consistent metric definitions

• Improved analytics adoption and business insight usage

• Reduced duplication through shared datasets and reporting assets

Minimum Required Qualification:

• Degree in Analytics, Information Systems, Business Intelligence, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

Minimum Required Experience

• Extensive experience with Power BI in enterprise environments

• Strong experience in semantic modelling and DAX

• Experience in analytics leadership or senior technical role

• Experience working with data platforms (preferably Azure and Snowflake) and SQL

Minimum Required Competencies

• Advanced Power BI and data modelling expertise

• Strong SQL and data platform understanding

• Data storytelling and stakeholder communication

• Leadership, coaching, and mentoring capability

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving
