  • Lead and develop environmental team members, including defining and communicating roles and responsibilities, coaching and mentoring staff, and supporting professional development.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to integrate environmental considerations into mine planning and daily operations.
  • Provide technical guidance to staff and support the review of plans, reports, and environmental deliverables.
  • Support the development and execution of permitting strategies in coordination with the Environmental Manager and regional permitting team.
  • Contribute to the development and review of environmental management plans relevant to assigned programs.
  • Lead or support environmental incident response, ensuring timely action and minimizing operational risk.
  • Act as a liaison with external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, as needed.
  • Champion continuous improvement in environmental systems and programs.
  • Oversee environmental contractors as needed, ensuring work aligns with site requirements and regulatory expectations.
  • Support the Environmental Manager in ensuring the team is adequately staffed and resourced.
  • Assist in preparing and managing department budgets.
  • Act as delegate for the Environmental Manager when required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
