JOB DESCRIPTION: As an Electrical Engineer, you will design, test, and integrate high-power electrical systems that enable next-generation hybrid-electric propulsion and mission equipment. You’ll take ownership of projects from concept through deployment—collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, leading design reviews, and supporting field testing. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in power engineering and thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment where precision and innovation drive results.

DUTIES: Design and test power electronics including ESCs, inverters, and rectifiers. Develop and validate generator systems for hybrid-electric propulsion. Support design, integration, and thermal management of battery systems. Implement high-voltage distribution and grounding strategies for aircraft platforms. Diagnose and validate electrical systems using oscilloscopes, DAQs, and multimeters. Collaborate with controls, avionics, mechanical, and aero teams to ensure safety and efficiency. Contribute to ground and flight test activities with hands-on hardware debugging and data collection. Document design work, validation procedures, and test results for internal and external reviews.

SKILLS: Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or an individual granted asylum/refugee status, in accordance with ITAR/EAR regulations). Bachelor’s degree (BS) or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field. 2+ years of relevant experience (aviation, automotive, robotics, or similar industries). Strong background in power engineering, high-power systems, and energy storage. Experience with DC generators, motor controllers, and battery pack design. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and validate systems above 5,000 watts. Proficiency with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, DAQs).

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS: Experience with Altium Designer for PCB layout. Previous PCB design and validation experience. Familiarity with hybrid-electric or aerospace power systems. Hands-on experience integrating electrical systems with multidisciplinary platforms.

BONUS: Prior experience working on airborne or high-reliability electrical systems. Familiarity with certification standards for aerospace or automotive power systems. Passion for our mission to revolutionize wildfire mitigation through autonomous aerospace technology.

EXPECTED HOURS/SCHEDULE: Full Time: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

PAY: $90k - $120k/year

BENEFITS: Pay Depends on Experience. Health Insurance: Medical, Dental, and Vision Included. Opportunity for Growth and Development.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
