Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead with a strong software engineering background and practical experience in AI-powered applications.

The ideal candidate will lead technical implementation, support developers, make architectural decisions, and contribute directly to development across multiple projects.

We are looking for someone who stays up to date with modern technologies, understands AI integration beyond basic API usage, and can balance code quality, performance, scalability, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor developers across backend, frontend, and AI-related projects.
  • Design scalable, maintainable, and secure software architectures.
  • Participate in hands-on development, code reviews, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Design and implement AI-powered features using LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, and workflow orchestration.
  • Evaluate new technologies and recommend practical improvements.
  • Establish coding standards, development best practices, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, DevOps, QA, and Security teams.
  • Identify technical risks, resolve bottlenecks, and improve engineering productivity.
  • Support integrations, legacy system modernization, and cloud-based applications.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Previous experience as a Technical Lead or demonstrated technical leadership capabilities.
  • Strong backend development experience with Python, .NET, or Node.js.
  • Good understanding of software architecture, REST APIs, databases, and system integrations.
  • Practical experience with LLMs, OpenAI APIs, RAG, AI Agents, or LangChain/LangGraph.
  • Familiarity with modern frontend technologies such as React or Next.js.
  • Experience with Git, code reviews, Docker, and CI/CD fundamentals.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to work hands-on while guiding a development team.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Azure or AWS.
  • Experience building production-ready AI applications.
  • Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search.
  • Familiarity with AI evaluation, guardrails, and observability.
  • Experience with real-time applications, WebSockets, or speech-to-text solutions.
  • Understanding of microservices, event-driven architecture, and application security.
  • Experience modernizing legacy applications.
