The posting

We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead and oversee our IT operations, infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, and IT support functions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with proven leadership and the ability to manage IT operations while supporting business needs and technology projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the IT team, including workload allocation, performance, development, and daily operations.
  • Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, servers, networks, firewalls, VPNs, and connectivity.
  • Oversee Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Entra ID, user access, and endpoint management.
  • Ensure the availability, security, and reliability of IT systems and services.
  • Manage backup, disaster recovery, monitoring, and business continuity processes.
  • Oversee IT support and ensure timely resolution of user issues and incidents.
  • Manage IT assets, hardware, software, licenses, and technology lifecycle.
  • Lead IT projects, system implementations, upgrades, and technology improvements.
  • Manage IT vendors, service providers, contracts, and SLAs.
  • Support IT budgeting, procurement, and cost management.
  • Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, documentation, and security standards.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
  • Work closely with different departments to understand business requirements and provide effective technology solutions.
  • Monitor IT risks and ensure appropriate cybersecurity and data protection measures are in place.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in IT, with at least 2 years in an IT leadership or management role.
  • Strong experience in IT infrastructure and systems administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and networking.
  • Experience with firewalls, VPNs, endpoint security, and cybersecurity practices.
  • Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
  • Good understanding of cloud technologies, preferably Azure and/or AWS.
  • Experience managing IT projects and external vendors.
  • Experience with IT support/helpdesk operations and service management.
  • Experience with ERP or other business applications is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to work both strategically and hands-on when required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco, cybersecurity, PMP, or similar certifications.
  • Experience with PowerShell or IT automation.
  • Experience with ITSM/helpdesk platforms.
  • Experience in a hybrid working environment.
  • Knowledge of information security frameworks such as ISO 27001.
