Omschrijving

Wij zijn voor de Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO) op zoek naar een ervaren Interim Chief Privacy Officer (CPO). Binnen de afdeling CIP speel je een sleutelrol in het verder ontwikkelen en professionaliseren van de privacyfunctie binnen een grote en complexe overheidsorganisatie.

Vanwege het vertrek van de huidige plaatsvervangend CPO is tijdelijke versterking nodig om de continuïteit van de privacyorganisatie te waarborgen. Op termijn wordt de functie structureel ingevuld. In deze opdracht ben je verantwoordelijk voor het verder inrichten en uitbouwen van de CPO-functie, het versterken van de privacy governance en het adviseren van management bij complexe privacyvraagstukken.

Je begeleidt en stuurt privacyfunctionarissen functioneel aan, verbindt verschillende stakeholders binnen de organisatie en draagt actief bij aan de verdere professionalisering van privacy, compliance en gegevensbescherming.

Taken en verantwoordelijkheden

  • Verder ontwikkelen, inrichten en positioneren van de Chief Privacy Officer-functie.
  • Functioneel aansturen van privacyfunctionarissen en privacyaanspreekpunten binnen de organisatie.
  • Adviseren van hoger management over complexe privacyvraagstukken.
  • Opstellen, uitvoeren en bewaken van het privacyplan.
  • Doorontwikkelen van privacy governance, privacybeleid en bijbehorende processen.
  • Uitvoeren, begeleiden en beoordelen van Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA's).
  • Deelnemen aan strategische en tactische overleggen op het gebied van privacy en gegevensbescherming.
  • Begeleiden van privacy-audits, onderzoeken en opvolging van verbetermaatregelen.

Wat vragen wij?

Eisen

  • Afgeronde hbo- of wo-opleiding op het gebied van gegevensbescherming, privacy of een vergelijkbare richting.
  • Minimaal 2,5 jaar aantoonbare ervaring als Chief Privacy Officer (CPO) of plaatsvervangend CPO binnen de Rijksoverheid.
  • Aantoonbare ervaring met de toepassing van privacywetgeving, waaronder de AVG, binnen grote organisaties met meer dan 1.000 medewerkers.
  • Aantoonbare ervaring met functionele aansturing van privacyfunctionarissen of privacyadviseurs.
  • Aantoonbare ervaring met het ontwikkelen of doorontwikkelen van privacy governance en privacybeleid.
  • Aantoonbare ervaring met het adviseren van hoger management over privacyvraagstukken.

Pré

  • Relevante privacycertificering, zoals CIPP/E of CIPM.
  • Ervaring met het uitvoeren of beoordelen van DPIA's.
  • Ervaring met het opzetten, vastleggen, inrichten en vervullen van een CPO-functie.
  • Ervaring met privacygerelateerde audits en onderzoeken.
  • Ervaring met Privacy by Design binnen organisatieprocessen of digitale producten.
  • Kennis van en/of ervaring met de EU AI Act en de relatie tussen AI-governance en privacy.
