While current game engines and game servers can handle a peak of approximately 100 players in a single game instance, the next generation of online games and metaverse experiences demand much larger simulated environments think tens of thousands to millions of players and AI entities.i

Job Summary

We are seeking a Unity Developer with a passion for multiplayer gaming and experience in Unity to contribute to the development of games that are being developed on our revolutionary concurrency engine.

We are looking for individuals like you who aspire to make history by delivering the most extensive concurrent gaming experiences. If you possess a love for games and the intuition for optimizing and enhancing gameplay for multiplayer or MMO games, you're the one we're looking for.

The ideal candidate will be a problem-solving enthusiast who takes pride in crafting elegant, high-performance code.

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • You can build solid & scalable Unity code
  • Transforming high-level objectives into functional code
  • Collaborating with stakeholders, design teams, and coding teams to comprehend requirements and dependencies
  • Testing and iterating as necessary in a team environment
  • Resolving challenges through sound development processes
  • Planning, coding, maintaining, testing, and documenting code and tools
  • Being an essential part of the development team, actively contributing to the enhancement of our tools, services, and platforms
  • Developing and maintaining technology integrations with industry-standard game engines to enable our customers to create and manage games and online experiences supporting millions of users in a single shared reality
  • Implementing game systems in close collaboration with the design and QA team
  • Profiling and optimizing the codebase
  • Troubleshooting technical issues and debugging

Required Experience

  • Strong proficiency in Unity programming
  • Extensive knowledge of the Unity game engine
  • Expertise in developing replication logic and gameplay for multiplayer or MMO games
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and optimization skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English
  • Shipped at least one title

Location

We operate under a hybrid remote/cluster resource model. Our preferred locations are:

  1. Poland (Warsaw or Tri-City)
  2. Istanbul (Turkey)
  3. Fully remote opportunities (available for candidates anywhere in Europe or worldwide) for exceptional individuals.
