We combine deep AdTech expertise, proprietary technology, and a data-driven mindset to deliver transparency, performance, and efficiency in the mobile advertising ecosystem.

Why BidMachine? At BidMachine, we are building more than an exchange — we are shaping the infrastructure that powers fair, efficient, and scalable in-app programmatic advertising. We are proud of our technology, our ambitious vision, and our globally distributed team of talented professionals who continuously raise the bar in AdTech.

Here’s what we value, and what we hope you do too:

Ownership & Accountability We move fast, take responsibility, and think like builders. Every team member has a direct impact on product growth and market success.

Data-Informed Excellence We leverage data to make smarter decisions, optimize performance, and build scalable solutions that deliver measurable results.

Global Collaboration We work across cultures, time zones, and disciplines — united by shared goals and high standards.

Ambition & Impact We are here to build something significant — a best-in-class exchange that competes with the strongest players in the market.

BidMachine is looking for a hands-on Head of Non-Gaming Partnerships (Mediation) to bring non-gaming app publishers onto our mediation platform and grow them.

This role combines go-to-market and product for one segment: non-gaming apps such as utility, weather, fitness, health, news, AI and consumer-brand apps. You’ll choose which segments and markets to win first, sign the publishers, get them integrated and live alongside the platforms they already run, and bring our account-management team in from the first day of each integration. The first direct non-gaming publishers are already live, so you start from real accounts and a revenue target, not a blank page.

Success here isn’t measured by activity or meetings. It’s measured by the revenue the non-gaming publishers you bring live generate, how lean your squad stays, and how repeatable the path to the next publisher becomes.

You’ll build and lead a small squad across commercial, product and engineering work, and work closely with the other mediation squads, our exchange and our sales team.

This is a hands-on role for someone who has built or run a mediation, or who has connected ad demand directly to non-gaming publishers, and knows that the largest platforms win publishers on brand. Non-gaming publishers won’t come to us that way: they have to be won outbound, from a platform they already use. We’re looking for someone who understands the SDK and the integration well enough to make a demanding publisher say yes, and who turns what publishers ask for into product changes that ship.

Location: Barcelona, Spain. Relocation supported.

In your first 90 days: a product and go-to-market plan built from your own market and competitor analysis, one integration completed with a publisher who has already signed, and a list of target publishers for our sales team.

Responsibilities:

Choose where to play

  • Pick the non-gaming segments and markets to go after first, and say why.
  • Write the plan, with a revenue goal and the leading indicators you’ll track every week.

Sign non-gaming publishers

  • Lead the commercial effort for the segment, outbound, together with our sales and business development teams.
  • Win publishers from the platform they use today: understand their stack, their objections and what it takes for them to switch or add us.

Get them integrated and live

  • Own the path from signature to live traffic, working with engineering, alongside the other mediation and ad platforms the publisher already runs.
  • Go after quality inventory: native and video formats and strong audiences, with banners where they still earn.

Shape the product

  • Translate what non-gaming publishers need (formats, demand, integration effort) into clear requirements for the SDK and the platform, and follow them through until they ship.
  • Make the case for non-gaming needs on a roadmap and a shared SDK you don’t own, with numbers from real publishers.

Ramp and hand over

  • Work with the account-management team from the first day of each integration, take each account to live and earning, and hand it over with the terms written down and nothing lost.

Build and lead the squad

  • Choose the people the work needs, set priorities and keep the squad as small as the job allows.

Watch the market and write it down

  • Track how competing mediation platforms work with non-gaming publishers, market by market.
  • Keep plans, decisions and the state of each integration written down where the team can see them.

Requirements:

  • Mediation, or direct non-gaming monetization. You have built or run a mobile ad mediation in a product, go-to-market, partnerships, publisher business development or solutions role. Or you have connected ad demand directly to non-gaming app publishers: inside a publisher’s own mediation or custom ad stack, or through Google Ad Manager.
  • Product and commercial in one person. You have signed publishers or partners, and you have shaped a product. You are technical enough to discuss SDKs, integrations, bidding and waterfalls with engineers.
  • Non-gaming app publishers. You have worked with app publishers outside games and can describe what you did to bring them on and grow them.
  • More than one region. You have worked with publishers in more than one market.
  • Team leadership. You have led a small cross-functional team with revenue or P&L targets: chosen people, set priorities and coached them.
  • Demonstrated AI experience, required. Practical hands-on use of AI tools in publisher, partnerships or product work, with the ability to describe the specific workflows you improved, the results delivered, and how you validated the output.

Nice to have:

  • You built a mediation product and the go-to-market plan for it.
  • Experience on a mediation platform that grew significantly while you were there.
  • Native and video formats, and publisher audience or data monetization.
  • Spanish.

With a powerful product, strong market positioning, and a team that strives for excellence, BidMachine offers a unique opportunity to grow, innovate, and make a tangible impact in the programmatic advertising space.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
