Your mission
- Enforce Health and Safety measures and improvements within US facility.
- Manage the operations and improve business performance indicators (On-Time Delivery, Lead Time reductions, Operating Margin improvements)
- Create standards in accordance with industry standards and customer expectations.
- Identify quality control processes to ensure criteria are met at all times.
- Record findings and relay this information to the production team.
- Brainstorm ideas to increase productivity and performance of the production line while maintaining accuracy in quality.
- Make decisions in favor of cost-efficiency without compromising on quality.
- Entering and working quality notifications to resolution (i.e. return material authorization (RMA)).
- Perform material receipt and inspection as well as defective material resolution.
- Support customer vendor qualification visits and other audits as needed.
- Provide technical direction and support of the production lines to minimize downtime, material receipt and inspection, defective material resolution, and workcenter planning.
- Audits (Internal and External).
- Manage product approvals in collaboration with regulating authorities (i.e. Intertek, By H-ON, CCC, ISO).
- Work from engineering drawings, sketches, data sheets, specifications, and the computer.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on machines to ensure continued production quality.
- Process transactions in our SAP/ERP software.
- Work effectively in a team environment.
- Provide manufacturing team ideas for process and product improvements.
Your profile
- Professional with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management or related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 6 months of experience in manufacturing, warehouse operations, assembly, packing and shipping, and/or customer service.
- Familiar with company and industry quality standards and processes.
- Strong project management, leadership and management skills.
- Proven record in training employees about safety and production.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to positively influence, coach and motivate employees.
- Great team player with strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in computer technology and systems; experience using SAP/ERP preferred, but not mandatory.
- Computer, math, and weights and measures skills a must.
- Works under minimal supervision, performing duties and tasks that are frequently non-routine and adapting procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet special needs.
- May perform more detailed tasks requiring deep knowledge and experience in the specified processes and procedures.
- Must maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures governing the handling of materials, chemicals, tools and equipment.
