Financial Controller

Fully Remote | EU Company (Cyprus Entity)

Were looking for a hungry, ambitious finance leader ready to help shape the financial future of a fast-growing Group with businesses in advertising Solutions, e-commerce, retail and real estate.

This isn't a traditional corporate CFO role. It's a hands-on, build-from-the-ground-up opportunity where strategy and execution go hand in hand.

As we scale, were looking for someone who wants to own the numbers, influence strategy, and build the financial engine of the business.

If you have 5–7 years of strong finance experience and are ready to step into a leadership seat where your decisions will directly impact growth, while still being comfortable rolling up your sleeves, this could be the opportunity youve been waiting for.

What Youll Be Doing

As CFO, youll work directly with the founders and leadership team to shape the Groups financial strategy and infrastructure.

This is a hands-on finance leadership role, where both strategic thinking and operational execution are essential.

Your responsibilities will include:

· Owning daily bookkeeping and financial recordkeeping to maintain accurate and reliable accounts

· Managing accounts payable, receivable, and financial reconciliations

· Building and maintaining financial models, forecasts, and budgeting frameworks

· Driving unit economics analysis across clients and revenue streams

· Leading cash flow management and financial planning in a high-growth environment

· Establishing financial processes that scale as the company grows

· Ensuring tax, regulatory, and compliance alignment with our Cyprus-based legal entity

· Acting as a strategic partner to leadership on growth decisions and capital allocation

Youll play a central role in translating operational performance into financial insight and strategy.

What Were Looking For

This role is ideal for someone who is an established CFO or ready to step up into a true CFO position earlier in their career, while still being comfortable owning the financial operations of a growing group.

You likely bring:

· 5–7 years of experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, or corporate finance

· Strong bookkeeping and accounting fundamentals

· Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills

· Exposure to tech, digital advertising, SaaS, or high-growth startups

· Understanding of revenue models, margins, and unit economics

· ACCA/ACA qualified (or equivalent)

· Knowledge on VAT & VIES reporting in the EU

· EU market experience, ideally with multiple companies

· The ability to operate in a fast-moving, sometimes ambiguous environment

· A mindset that combines ownership, precision, and strategic thinking

· Experience with scaling finance functions is a strong advantage.

· Advance experience working with Xero (software).
