Boeing Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems has an exciting opportunity for multiple Design-for-Test (DFT) Engineers — ASIC Backend to join us as part of our Boeing Electronic Products team at the heart of Boeing’s products to support advanced digital subsystem development in an aerospace environment in El Segundo, CA.

Position overview The DFT team drives architecture, verification, and post-silicon validation for leading-edge ASICs. We seek engineers across experience levels (Jr → Principal) to design and validate test access mechanisms, memory BIST, scan compression, and related test infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and implement DFT architectures: TAP/JTAG, IJTAG (IEEE 1687), Boundary Scan (BSCAN), MBIST, and scan compression
  • Develop and validate TAP/JTAG and IJTAG infrastructures, BSDL/ICL/PDL artifacts, and ATPG pattern generation
  • Drive pattern generation, coverage optimization, memory test validation, and silicon debug (scan, at-speed, bring-up)
  • Integrate DFT features across the chip design flow and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust DFT integration
  • Coordinate with external partners/customers on custom DFT interfaces and security requirements when applicable
  • Contribute to development and deployment of DFT methodologies for next-generation products
  • Occasional travel and after-hours meetings during critical milestones

Boeing continuously shapes the future of aerospace and space systems, advancing U.S. leadership in space while amplifying human creativity and intelligence. As a Boeing engineer, you’ll join a diverse, collaborative team solving high‑impact challenges in complex semiconductor design. If you value a company that supports strong work–life balance and meaningful technical work, Boeing is the place to be.

How to make your application stand out: If you are a creative, autonomous engineer passionate about advancing DFT for mission-critical ASICs, we want to hear from you. Please include a cover letter/brief summary of relevant DFT experience when submitting your application.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
