The posting

As BOLD continues to expand its multi-brand ecosystem, we are looking for a Systems Analyst II to analyze, optimize, and execute key technology for BOLD business units and serve as a technology thought partner for engineering and partnered business units. In this role, you will independently solve complex problems, optimize system workflows, and design data models across multiple sources to boost business growth through applied analytics and business insights. You will work collaboratively across internal teams and partner closely with our offshore development teams to deliver platform integrations, implement service changes, and enhance operational scalability.

About this team

The Product Technology group focuses on providing technology that creates valuable insights and analysis for our internal partners, enabling them to perform their roles to an even greater level of customer satisfaction, all while giving the company the demonstrable instrumentation and data intelligence to continue to scale and grow our customer base with fantastic products.

What you'll do

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise across business units, development teams, vendors, and technology partners on an ongoing basis, influencing peers and stakeholders through well-structured messaging and clear technical alignment.
  • System Analysis & Workflow Optimization: Evaluate data from multiple source systems, surface cross-system dependencies, reconcile differences, and decompose high-level requirements into detailed technical specifications.
  • Data Modeling & Reporting: Design data models across multiple sources using SQL and general-purpose programming to deliver clear data insights that inform team decisions and support platform services.
  • Integration & Project Execution: Coordinate and execute small-to-midsize platform integration projects (e.g., third-party tools, REST/SOAP APIs), reducing manual work and ensuring complete, timely deliverables.
  • Operational Problem Solving & UAT: Lead root cause analysis for operational incidents, implement durable fixes, organize user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure consistent data interpretation.
  • Documentation & Team Support: Develop technical tools and documentation to expedite partner onboarding, improve product serviceability with Engineering, and advocate for the customer experience across projects.

What you'll need

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in systems analysis, technical requirements gathering, project management, and business process optimization.
  • Core Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience using SQL to query, analyze, and manipulate large datasets, paired with coding skills in a general-purpose programming language (e.g., Python).
  • Web & API Literacy: Working experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP) and understanding of REST/SOAP API integrations.
  • Structured Communication & Analytical Skills: Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and adapt plans proactively within a fast-paced environment.
  • Cross-Functional & Offshore Coordination: Experience coordinating project work across cross-functional teams and collaborating with offshore development teams (including flexibility to support extended hours for India time zone alignment).
  • Education: Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Quantitative Analysis, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

What's good to have

  • Advanced Data Skills: Prior experience with Python data analysis packages, advanced business intelligence tools (Sisense, PowerBI, SQL Server), or data modeling.
  • Optimization & Experimentation: Familiarity with A/B/C multi-variant testing, attribution modeling, or D2C e-commerce product optimization.
  • Software Tools: Proficiency with Visio, MS Project, and advanced Excel modeling.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
