The posting

About Bota Systems

Bota Systems AG is a Zürich-based ETH spin-off building high-precision 6-axis force-torque, torque and tactile sensors — a sensing platform for physical AI. Our customers are engineers, and they judge us by how clearly and accurately we explain what our products do.

We are hiring a Technical Content Marketing Engineer who understands our products in depth and turns that knowledge into content that informs customers and helps our business development team win.

The role

You own our technical content end to end: what customers see on our website, on social media and in every datasheet and presentation. You make sure it is accurate, current and compelling.

Key responsibilities

Website and landing pages

  • Keep our website content accurate, clear and up to date.
  • Create and maintain landing pages for products, applications, campaigns and events.
  • Make sure all online material always reflects the current versions of our products (specs, datasheets, CAD files, software, manuals).

Social media

  • Plan and fill our social media channels (especially LinkedIn and YouTube) with regular, high-quality technical content.
  • Turn product releases, customer applications and R&D work into posts, videos and short stories.

Video, educational content and trade fairs

  • Create and edit videos for our channels: product demos, tutorials, application showcases and customer stories.
  • Build online educational content (e.g. tutorials, webinars, how-to guides, learning series) that helps engineers understand and use force-torque sensing.
  • Produce all support material for trade fairs and events: booth graphics, banners, demo videos, brochures and handouts.

Graphics and visual material

  • Keep our graphic material current: product images, renders, diagrams, brochures and presentation templates.
  • Ensure a consistent look and message across all channels.

Sales enablement

  • Create content for our business development engineers: presentations, application notes, case studies, demo videos and one-pagers.
  • Work closely with them to understand what customers ask and produce material that answers it.
  • Use state-of-the-art tools, including AI-based content, design and video tools, to produce content quickly and at high quality.

Product understanding

  • Learn our products in depth — how they work, how they are integrated and where they add value.
  • Work with R&D to translate technical features into clear customer benefits.

What success looks like after 12 months

  • Website and all online material fully aligned with current product versions.
  • A steady, planned publishing rhythm on social media, with growing reach and engagement.
  • A library of product, tutorial and educational videos in active use by customers and our team.
  • Dedicated landing pages for key products, applications and target segments, generating leads.
  • A complete, up-to-date sales enablement library that business development engineers use every week.
  • Ready-to-use trade fair kit and refreshed, consistent graphic material across all channels.

Who you are

Must have

  • Engineering degree (mechanical, mechatronics, electrical, robotics or similar).
  • Ability to understand complex technical products in depth and explain them simply.
  • 2+ years creating technical content, product marketing or technical documentation.
  • Strong writing skills in English.
  • Hands-on with design tools and with video recording and editing, and with AI tools for content creation.
  • Experience maintaining websites or landing pages in a CMS.

Nice to have

  • Background in robotics, sensors or automation.
  • Experience with HubSpot, SEO and web analytics.
  • 3D rendering or CAD experience (e.g. SolidWorks, KeyShot).
  • German language skills.

What we offer and how to apply

  • Full ownership of how Bota presents itself to the world.
  • Work with cutting-edge sensing technology and the latest content tools.
  • A small, ambitious team at the forefront of Physical AI and Robotics.
  • Competitive salary and stock options.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
